We shouldn't have waited so long to get one. Solved our problem with having a 50 amp 5th wheel on 30 amp campgrounds.

Worked great to power out house during the ice storm

This does exactly what I wanted it to do! It takes two separate 30A 110V outlets, and turns them into a 30A 110/220 output. Each 30A input plug goes to a separate phase on the 50A output. The two neutral inputs on the 30a are bonded together, and the two grounds on the 30a inputs are bonded together. The individual 30a inputs are separated though (phase X and Y).If you have a big rig that has multiple AC units, and the power post has two 30A outlets and no 50a, this may help. I say may, because you need to ensure each of the 30a outlets are actually on different "phases". If you don't understand what this means, I'd recommend avoiding this product as you can damage the wiring in your RV if you plug this into an incorrectly phased supply. If you do understand what I am saying, know that each of the lives on the 30a inputs goes to a different leg on the 14-50, the neutrals are bonded between both inputs, and the grounds are bonded between both inputs.

Solid construction and seem heavy duty

Worked amazing. Item was as described and arrived as promised. A nice add to my rv adapters!
