Great product
Brilliant iron. smooth plate, not too heavy to use, very long lead. Although I paid more than I wanted to for an iron, I'm pleased as it very nice. Good fast delivery from Amazon.

Does a good job
This iron does a good job. However, it is a little heavier than my previous model and the lead sticks up and gets in the way. The instructions are in every language imaginable but I didn't understand the English ones easily.

Great lightweight iron
I was looking for iron that is lightweight but has a long power cord. I needed light weight due to poorly shoulder. This one is a newer model of what I had before, so I thought I will give it a try. It is pretty good. It is powerful, fast heating, giving options for steam such as energy efficient, or no steam ironing. It has descaling function as well. My only issue is that the cord is shorter than on my old iron, however it still decent length compared to other brands. It's non stick coating really good, better than others that I tried. The pointy bit is useful to iron narrow fabric, corners and collars.

Does the job, good value for money.
Not too heavy, good glide, efficient steam. Dislike lid on water filler, not a good fit, hard to close.

Does not slide as well as more expensive Philips' Irons
I think I should have purchased the models that have a better soleplate. This Perfect Care 3000 has a ceramic soleplate which "ensures smooth gliding" but in my experience not at all as smooth as my old Azur Performance Plus (discontinued) which had a T-ionicGlide (Titanium-oxide) "our best 5-star rated soleplate" (now discontinued or possibly supplanted by SteamGlide Elite (for "for ultimate gliding and durability") on the other 7000 and 8000 models. The wire is 2M which is good but then it is not as flexible (ie very stiff) compared to the one on the old iron. It wraps around the base but did not include a clip to fasten the bundle as with my old iron so it all tumbles off when you stow it. Ok so I used the old clip. It has plenty of steam at 2400W which goes to show that that's an ample power rating. Philips recommend de-calcing every month but the lever at the top needs switching all the way over to the right to self-clean and it won't go that far! So I must get in touch with Customer Care. But I had little choice as most irons weigh in at 1600 to 1800g and the 3000 is the only Philips with good steam that's lighter at 1200g (my wife's insistence). Will soldier on :)

Good iron for price
Very happy with this Iron it’s been great . It heats up really quickly and glides over the creases . I have to fill the chamber up more regular than I would like but that’s only a minor inconvenience . It works well
