WORTH A TRY!!!!!!
Like so many others, i read many articles on the benefits of rosehip oil for the skin and was so excited to see what it would do for mine. So, when I received the bottle and saw the "suggested use" written on the bottle was for aromatherapy, I felt purposely mislead and very, very disappointed. I contemplated returning the oil, but against better judgment and completely out of character for my "better safe than sorry" attitude on most eveything, I decided to try it. I'm new to the entire oil for the face trend. Initially, the texture and feel of the oil being slathered and rubbed into my skin was somewhat alarming. I likened it to rubbing lard or crisco on my face and imagined waking up looking like a 41yr old version of my former pre-teen, painfully pimply self. Thankfully, it was just a matter of minutes before the oil almost completely absorbed into my skin and it was left very, very soft and feeling so very moisturized - a feeling I have now not only become accustomed to, but very much look forward to with my morning and night skin routine. I have been using this oil religiously for a couple of weeks now, and consider it my skin care "superstar". The tone and texture of my skin has evened out dramatically, spots in my skin where pores were visible before, are no longer visible. This is not to say that my skin is now perfect, it is not, but my wrinkles and fine lines are dramatically softer and less noticeable. I have had a small amount of skin purging, a couple of new pimples here and there in spots that I did not regularly get pimples before, but with research I have found that this is expected for the first 12 weeks with the use of rosehip oil and will continue to get better with use. The benefits of the oil on my skin already outweigh the 3 or 4 odd pimples that I have experienced since the start of my use of this oil. So, YES- for me, this trade off has been totally worth it. I also began putting this around my totally dry, cracked and hang-naily hands and fingernail beds, and it is the first time in the history of EVER- (for me), that I do not have any of the above mentioned. My Mother has commented on the improvement of my hands more than once already. But most incredibly, my severely, deeply cracked heals are no longer this way. I am notorious in my family for having the most cracked heels and extremely dry feet to no avail. No amount of regular pedicures or foot file grinding has ever fixed this issue for me. Oddly, my feet have been this way since I had my son- 15 years ago. They got that way during pregnancy and never recovered. Both myself and my husband are literally shocked at the changes in my feet, and that was with IRREGULAR use, as this bottle is just 4oz... and with the discovery of its incredible abilities, I want to stretch it as far as I possibly can or until I am able to purchase the oil a gallon at a time. I had a 3rd degree sunburn on my chest in highschool. The skin cracked, peeled and bled and ultimately turned into scars with that burn, so I'm excited to see what this oil can do for that with regular use as well. I have to say-it feels REALLY good to see the continued improvements in such a short time and to know that they will only continue from here. I am so glad I decided to overlook my better judgment and try this oil. I do not like the wording on the packaging and I feel for most, it will make it a no-go. I would like to know why the huge difference in the description in that it's great for face, etc...and then the disclaimer on the packaging. It's very contradictory and just doesn't feel honest. That being said- I am grateful that I tried it. Ill never go without now.

So happy with this oil
After the rosehip oil was recommended I looked for the perfect type. The amount of oil is minimal and so nice. It's recommended for the hands and exposed skin. I have been using it for a week and I can't believe the difference on my hands, face and neck. It's so smoothing and moisturizing. The oil just soaks in and no heavy residue left. The scent is minimal and very pleasant.

... no issues with the bottle or packaging or anything like that! Some background
The product shipped very quickly and had absolutely no issues with the bottle or packaging or anything like that! Some background: I'm trying this out as an addition to my skincare routine to see if it will help with current/active acne, red acne scarring, or (fingers crossed) even those horrible acne craters. I used it for the first time last night and woke up with what I consider to be VERY soft skin. Like... a softer texture than I've ever felt on my face! There was no remaining oiliness, which I was a teeny bit concerned about; additionally, my skin wasn't outrageously red like it is some mornings, and my skin wasn't at all a strange orange color like the rosehip. Also - and this is very important - there are no new pimples today and my skin had no negative reaction to the oil! That's a miracle within itself, honest! Anyway, my plan is to try it for a few weeks and post an update (if that's possible?) so that I can help y'all to know if this is a potential skincare addition for those with oily, acne-prone and acne-scarred skin. Until then, here are a few application tips if you're using this for a similar problem:1) Gently wash your face prior to applying the oil. My thinking is that my pores were clean, allowing for a more effective application of the oil. TBH I have no idea if this is beneficial, but it definitely worked for me.2) Apply a *small* amount of oil to your skin. A teeny bit of this stuff goes a long way, trust me. If you have gentle skin, I would consider diluting with water or something like coconut oil, but I didn't do that and definitely had no bad reaction.3) Rub in the oil as well as you can.... if you don't, you'll look a little like an oompa loompa. (But more creepy.)4) Wash your face in the morning. Although I didn't have any residual oiliness surfaced on my skin, I rinsed my skin just in case, and today it feels great!Y'all, I don't know if I'm crazy or what, but... I really feel like it worked a little overnight. Anyway, I'll try to update this once I've become a regular user.

Fantastic, cannot beat this price
I love it so far. I had old acne scars and still have tiny pimples popping up. Since using this this last week two times a day, the scars have diminished a lot, pimples are fewer, and other redness around my nose has disappeared.I wash my face with a charcoal scrub at night and slather this on after rinsing. In the morning I wash with a simple face wash and use 3 drops of oil. My face is ready to accept the CC cream I wear without needing other moisturizers or primers.I only gave 4 stars because of the dropper. I prefer it was attached to the lid like other brands are.I might purchase lavender oil to mix with this for an extra boost for hormonal times lol.

Artizen Rosehip Oil
I have extremely sensitive skin. Being painfully sensitive to many products, I am limited to what types of products I can use, daily, and have been my entire life. Now that my skin is older the need for a moisturizer has grown. In fact, without a moisturizer, I develop flaky skin to the point I look like I'm shedding. (No kidding, at all.)I've recently introduced myself to Artizen Rosehip Oil, and my skin is becoming soft again. The places on my face that to me looked as though I had started growing scales has become smooth. My elbows are no longer 'padded' with dry skin. The spots along my entire legs are smooth. And, it doesn't take much. A few drops and my skin soaks it right in. I needed a few more drops at first, when my skin was extremely thirsty for moisturizer that IT liked, but as it has become less dry with continual use I'm able to use fewer drops.I've also noticed that if I use a plain, simple (cheap) baby oil after showering, and use this oil each morning and evening, my skin is less likely to become dry throughout the day. I had already been using baby oil after showering, but it didn't keep me from drying out during the day. Furthermore, it has helped to tighten several age wrinkles, and who - at any age - doesn't like that? ;)NOTE:I had a slight problem with my order - or to be more specific - with the droppers that come with the oil. I didn't wish to return my bottles as I had purchased them during a sale. Nevertheless, I contacted the seller - who happily worked with me to receive the correct droppers for my order, thereby eliminating the need to go through the entire return process & purchase (again) process. I am very pleased with not only the oil itself, but the seller, Artizen.
