Calico CrittersIce Cream Van, Toy Vehicle for Dolls

This adorable ice cream van was a perfect gift for my daughter. She loves it and plays with it frequently. Some days she uses it as an ice cream van and other times she flips over the trays and makes it into seats for her critters to ride around in. I like that there's a lot of ice cream flavors and options. There's so many toppings that you can make all kinds of combinations. All the parts are made well and it's very easy to convert it into a passenger van for all the little critters. The van itself rolls around nice and as a bonus, no stickers to put on! My daughter was also delighted there was a hole in the cones so that the critters can actually hold their ice cream. There really isn't anything to not like about this set. I think it's a great value!

We have bought playsets from franchises and other brands, and they are never really worth the money. This is the first time I have said I see where the money goes; this is quality construction; they did XYZ so well and thoughtfully. You pay quite a bit for the small sets from this brand, but they are very high quality and don't disappoint. I believe, if you choose the right items, they will last quite a long time.Examples of impressive details-- no errors with painting! Various small painted details. 'Chocolate' ears that slot into ice creams. Small and large cones to fit on the hands of all critters. Storage for extra cones under the ice cream display (if you/your child is older and can lift it).

The little forest animals can hold these ice creams which is our favorite part. The table inside the truck turns over and makes into seats so we use this as their little bus also. It’s very cute and I would recommend this product. Be advised if has a ton of very small pieces, which can pose as a choking risk

This set is absolutely adorable. I love the little ice creams and the little chocolate ears for them. The ice cream "container" (for holding the scoops) is reversible to become car seats, and the driver/passenger seats can come out to be a bench. As you'd expect from Calico Critters if you're familiar with the brand, there's so much detail put into it and it's well-made -- completely worth the price.

How to make a little girl use tactile toys, design a living or play area, increase her vocabulary, enjoy time together and with friends! These toys are the perfect way to achieve these goals and more. She started with a little set when her twin sisters arrived when she was 3 and she lost undivided attention from the adults in her life. She then discovered there was a world of these critters. She started asking for them for birthdays and Christmas and saving her “chore money” for them. When Covid arrived she enjoyed her critter friends! At 9 she has a separate shelving unit to organize the critter families. What other toys take up space, last for 6 years and create such an awesome imaginary playtime for a child? She now shares with the sisters and friends who come!

Calico critters are always a win in my book. The tiny details are adorable. Heirloom quality toy with working parts which make it even more fun. My daughters loved it.
