This seems like a pretty high standard dog coat/vest. I just used it outside on a very cold snowy day, and my 9 year old dog is very happy in it. He usually tries to wriggle and shake out of his Barbour waxed jacket, which has a much looser fit. This one fits very well, thanks to the accurate size chart and adjustable straps. I love that the clips are tucked into the puffer so it’s less likely to get his long hair caught in them.I can’t stay if this coat would hold up to a tough chewer, but if your dog likes to chew things, then keep this somewhere safe, along with everything else. I’m not entirely sure how durable this coat is yet, but so far no shrubs or branches have shredded it quite yet.The blue colour is really lovely and looks better in person.

GSP’s are traditionally hard to fit for clothing because they have deep chests and are long — but skinny. I measured Hollen as recommended by Ruffwear, used their suggested size chart for ordering, and found the medium to fit her PERFECTLY!!!! It’s warm, sturdy clip closures with elastic for a snug but comfortable belly band. There’s a hold between the shoulder blades to accommodate a harness and also a little strap to clip a Ruffwear light onto. They’ve gained a customer for life from our GSP house!!

This jacket has already been one of the best purchases! My dog, Josie, is a greyhound lab mix and needs a warm coat for the northeast. Not only does it look great, it seems incredibly durable for our adventures. She is about 45 pounds and is a lanky build, the medium fits her just right.

This brand is the absolute best, my dogs last jacket latest 10 years,and is still hanging on, but it was time for something new. This order Was bigger than would work for my dog, a bit longer than her body. No issues because dog bodies are all sorts of different than humans, so you can’t really tell what will work without trying them on. Started return and bought next size down. The only issue is the item showed up wreaking of baby powder, which I don’t really comprehend. It’s almost as if it were sprayed to cover up another smell,.

I bought a larger version of this for one of my dogs that outgrew his other. I read a lot of the reviews but I do not think people understand that this is a dog coat and not about whether the owner does not like. I am sorry I can not get a pic to download. But its easy to fasten. Goes over the head and buckles togetherunder the flaps. I do not use the loops as I have one dog with some handicaps. Been using these for a couple of years now and sadly they are now making one that is not adeqyete, and does not cover their chests well. My dogs run and play in them. They love them for city walks and you can have quite abit of snow or rain before they leak. folks it is a dog coat and one of the better ones. Your dog could care less what the color is. I will add a short note about the sweaters with the sleeves and zipper on side. dont buy them. they look sleek and I have only one dog that will wear them. There is never enough room for their chests. Get these while you can. In a pinch water proof duck tape will seal any holes.
