Great kennel, but it's not worth the money when it's for a puppy. If I could go back, I would wait to buy it till my baby was out of the chewing stage. My fault as I should of know better. Everything about it is sturdy but excessive chewing weakens the bars and the door.I still have it and it's a nice piece but now it no longer has the door attached as I had to remove it due to it finally breaking down. My pup still loves it and uses it for her down / nap time.

My dog won't get in it so using as an end table in our bunkhouse. Nice furniture; well-built. Just a bit small for my German Shepherd.

Others reviews have mentioned this before, but this is NOT a sturdy enough crate to withstand a dog that does not want to be in the crate. My dog loved his old metal crate, so figured this would be a nicer looking alternative. This crate ended up stressing him out because it is so much more enclosed and dark compared to a metal wire crate. The first couple of days having this crate he chewed up some of the inside of the wood of the door, and pushed out the side with all of his butt wagging excitement (which all wasn't a big deal). Two weeks into having this crate our dog had a full blown jailbreak and broke through two of wooden bars.Again, its a really great crate if you have a calm, relaxed dog, however is not sturdy for a dog that is uncomfortable in a crate. On the plus side, we disassembled the crate and put the top of this crate on top of our old metal crate and are still using it as a side table.

It is good looking for a dog bed. We tell our English Springer Spaniel it's her house. She likes it but would rather sit by my side on the couch. Not the easiest to put together. But it's sturdy. I would purchase again. Would like to see it cost less though.

Our dogs are 10 and 11 and have been crate trained so they don't chew or try to push their way out. If you have a dog that does though, the door is never going to hold. The thin particle board door is held by a door bolt, a tiny spring and a plastic cylinder which holds the top and bottom in place and allows it to swing. The door latch is also a little difficult to close. I am already planning on how I will replace the door and make the replacement look nice when this one falls off.

We ordered this 'crate' for our new rescue lab. I was able to put it together in about 20 minutes and it is classy looking and sturdy. I have only needed to put her in it once (the whole family had to leave the house for 3 hours a couple days after we got her) and while she was not happy, she WAS comfortable, there was plenty of room to stand up turn around and lay down. I am very pleased with this product. The shipping was fast.

This crate was beautiful! I ordered the wrong size for the pups. The seller was so great to work with in helping me return the crate and issuing me a refund! I highly recommend this product! Just do yourself a favor and measure so you get just the right size for your fur babies lol!

Love the kennel, it looks like a nice table. The quality is good but the only reason I did not give it five stars is because the door is hard to open. Did not take long for my boxer to get used to it. She can see out of it better than the ugly old kennel I had.
