Perfect replacement for the fuel valve on my generator. The valve operates very smoothly with little force. The grommet was high quality rubber, pliable, easy to install, and seals perfectly without leaking.Very happy with this product.

Used it for a DIY gas tank on a go kart. Works well but the filter is pretty fragile. As long as you take care when pushing it through the grommet, it's fine.

I've go a GN22 Generac Generator that broke off the fuel petcock. The diameter of the original hole in the plastic tank is between .525 and .550 in. This petcock came with the rubber grommet that serves as the seal. I took a clean rag and wiped around the opening to clean the tank, pushed the grommet into the hole, a little manipulation was required, but it was a good tight fit. Then I wiped wheel bearing grease into the interior of the grommet (not the outside that seals against the tank) and wiped wheel bearing grease on the portion of the petcock that pushes into the seal. I then carefully pushed the petcock straight into the seal. It expands the seal as it goes in. The grease made this effort very easy. I then placed a couple of gallons of gasoline into the tank to check for leaks. All looks good. Then proceeded to run the generator for 30 minutes to give it a check out. All in all, I am very satisfied with this product.
