Having looked at around 20 books on the subject of exit planning, this is the absolute gold standard. There are very few business books that you can attribute the label "can't put down," but this is one of them. It is best read cover to cover in a few sittings, right before your business exit journey is about to begin, as it will help you assess your current reality and paint pictures of realistic goals and the strategies to deploy to get there.Geoff has a way with words and stories and created an excellent canvas of possibilities.

Geoff’s a master of getting the best value upon exit
You have in your hands a map to the holy grail of business; the high value exit. Think for a moment what this means - a repeatable process for maximising the value of any business and getting a life changing amount of money! Geoff Green has been incredibly generous in producing a book packed with experiential wisdom few people would openly share. Geoff’s a master of getting the best value upon exit. He built and sold his own business for millions, helped others to do the same, and many business owners are willing to pay him a small fortune to advise them on their business exit strategies. Needless to say, the information in this book is highly valuable. I suggest you pretend you paid $10,000 for it rather than a tenner!Daniel Priestley, Entrepreneur, Co Founder of Entrevo Growth Accelerator and Author of Entrepreneur Revolution and Oversubscribed

Highly recommended
I have been a corporate lawyer for almost 25 years and for many of those years I ran a law firm that focussed on mergers & acquisitions. All too often I saw clients that were ill prepared for the sale of their business particularly the inevitable legal and financial due diligence process. I only wish that each of them had read Geoff’s book long before they ever thought of selling their business. It is obvious to me that Geoff’s insights are unique. They come from many years of not only practising law but also from being an entrepreneur himself. He gets it! His book provides a business owner with everything they need to know about how to sell their business for a premium and avoid many of the common pitfalls that can either devalue their business or even derail the sale. I highly recommend Geoff’s book!

The startup's 'smarter', wiser bigger brother.
Most entrepreneurs and businesses talk about the beginning... the famously famous startup; supposedly where the fame, lights and glory are. However, the seasoned business knows that this is not the full case. Getting a business to go is one thing; getting it ready for your future, and someone else, is a completely different journey. Geoff has one of the best approaches of dealing with the "after" - where most of the money is made. A brilliant book all around.

Geoff Green has got the Smart Exit nailed in this book
Geoff Green has got the Smart Exit nailed in this book. I've bought & sold businesses for my clients & there's no doubt many SME owners are badly under-prepared & so fail to get the best price. This book provides an excellent road map for owners to follow & will definitely help them maximise the return on all the effort they have invested in their business.
