Out of the box one worked and the other didn’t, quick read of the instruction and it says charge in sunlight for 2 days. In scotland we are lucky if we get 1 day of sunlight in the summer never mind 2 days of it in the winter. Luckily I managed to get a few hour of sunlight to get them charged. Currently the lights only lasts 2 hours but that could be because it’s winter with very little sun, if the lights worked on replacement batteries it would be ideal because they look great and give off good light. It’s a good quality light and I look forward to see the performance in the summer months. I would still recommend them and I may buy some more in the summer.update - the lights are amazing and last for ages, lights come on about and last about 6 hours (i cant say for sure as i have noticed them coming on around 20:00 and were still on when i went to bed around 02:00 so cant say for sure when they switched off. It’s not difficult at all to figure it out, just lift the back off and press on button, that’s it. As I just put them on the paving slabs at night, there is no need to screw and use glue. During the day I put them where they could get the longest sun exposure.The size is like three CD cases stacked on top of each other. It is a good looking product, fantastic on square paving slabs or pebbles, my back yard now looks like some luxury hotel.

These are nice and bright but don't last long in the winter months but it's the same with all solar lightsThese are well built and properly protected from the elements due to its solid construction. Great

These COULD be great! They look good and they are bright, but both units only lasted about 5-10 minutes max before running out. They state 8 to 12 hours but perhaps it should be minutes? It’s a shame as I was impressed to start with…..

Using lights as post lights on my decking.Thay are very sturdy with the Solar panels enclosed so there should not be water seepage.

(single light)One square solar light with a very simple instruction leaflet, screws and raw plugs or sticky tape to secure to object.I have never used this style of solar light before, so I was quite stumped when I opened the package. The instruction leaflet said to turn it on with the switch, but I couldn’t find one. Nothing was obvious; it was a mystery.So I came back to the pictures with the product description online and they suggested unscrewing the back 4 screws, which I did and still nothing came apart. Then while pulling and pushing the back the inner plastic square on the back came off and there was the on switch! I didn’t need to unscrew anything! I wish the instructions had said, pull off the inner black square on the back.Once ‘on’ and charged with sunlight the light was quite bright. I think that now I need more of them as just one is rather lonely.
