Good value and stayed put. We drove 1100 miles through 2 rain storms. Items stayed 95% dry. There was some moisture leakage but no joke we drove through some torrential rain. It is easy to install and I like how it folds flat for storage. I bought this when we moved across county and needed all the cargo space in my Nissan Rogue. I didn’t store any valuables in it for fear of theft when I parked over night at the hotels. It comes with a little lock but would be easily compromised by a thief. It is light weight but sturdy. I would recommend this product

1st use, 2 buckles broke. Very poor strap/buckle design! Straps to secure bag to vehicle and straps to snug down load are the same thing. Wrong! Buckles anchored to bag wrong area and should be adjustable at both ends of buckle. Bag must be completely full, stuffed even, for buckles to work with this unit. Otherwise buckles hit roof rack prohibiting a good cinch so bag more or less just sat there. Lock a joke,Pros: Bag itself seemed heavy enough material to get at few+ seasons out of it; with ample fly over zipper, zippered at both ends nice.

I used this Cargo Roof Bag for a 779 mile trip this week. During the trip there was a period of time of medium rain but the bag did not leak. The bag is well constructed and performed as expected. I liked the wide straps that cross over the top of the bag in both directions. The straps connected easily to my luggage rack (with cross bars) on my Ford Escape. The only negative is that the lock could have been of better quality, but most bags I considered not come with a lock.In short, I highly recommend this cargo roof top bag, especially if your luggage rack has cross bars.

We recently used the bag to go camping and it worked well to store the sleeping bags, air mattresses, etc. It was a great alternative to buying an expensive roof cargo bin for several hundred dollars. I filled the bag completely and it was easy to tighten the straps. On our first trip, I didn't tie the excess straps and they made a loud noise on the car - on the way back, tied them and there was no problem. I have some concern the bag won't be as useful if I don't fill it completely (making it harder to tie down), but I haven't tried that yet so can't say for sure.The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the picture is misleading. The bag will rest on the roof of your car and is secured by straps around your roof racks - it does not sit above the car like in the picture. I imagine the picture was taken with cardboard put in the bag to prop it up or something. I'm glad I bought a roof mat because the bag sits on the roof, and I'd recommend getting a protective mat for another $10.

It wasn't very easy to put on the roof of our vehicle. Once everything was loading into it, it was way to heavy to lift so we had to remove everything and put it on the roof first then put all the stuff in it. On the positive side, it fits a lot of stuff!! We drove out of state and when through some heavy rain. It is NOT 100% waterproof. Luckily we had everything sealing in vacuum bags. Unfortunately, I will be returning this item when I get back home. :(

This bag worked great for a 1000 mile road trip! It poured rain about a third of our trip yet all of our bags remained totally dry. The straps secured to the rails on the top of our vehicle very easily and we didn't hear any "flapping" in the wind. It fit many more bags then we expected and really helped make our trip much more comfortable. Great product.

This is by far the best investment we have made in a long time ! Wind proof , 100% water proof ,straps held up perfectly, takes 2 people to take in and off on our 2015 suburban

This is a terrible product! Just a little bit of wind and it will tear a hole in it and the entire thing filled with water within a few hours of starting to use it. Because I bought it months before camping trip it looks like I can’t get a refund. Do not use this product!
