They are a lifesaver
I had a problem reinstalling OS X El Capitan, and bootus came to my rescue. I’m so glad I found them, and their customer service is superb. When the first usb that was sent to me didn’t help my computer, another was sent out the same day, for free and, they were there to walk me through everything. I would refer anyone to them that have a problem trying reinstall their software. Thank you bootus

Absolute life saver
My 2009 MacBook Pro had lain dormant for a few years so naturally I forgot the password. The computer had Mountain Lion as it’s last OS, so it didn’t have Recovery mode. 2 chats and a phone call with Apple Care later, it occurred to me to try the “most recent” OS my hardware could handle… ole girl is back up and running like a champ. I will be posting this to Reddit for those that are running into similar issues. If I could give you 12 ⭐️ I would!I will happily spend $18 vs $1300 💕

It Worked!
After trying and waiting for two days for new install to download I found this quick fix here on Amazon. Believe me, it was worth the $$$. This worked in 2 hrs.15 min. Thank you so much!

This Mac OS X USB did as advertised, got my 2011 Mac Mini up and running again. Would buy from them in the future.

Fixes the problem with El Capitan NOT reinstalling
El Capitan has a well-documented issue with not reinstalling. Called a local Mac repair shop for help and they were clueless. Called Apple and they were clueless too. Almost threw away a perfectly fine older 27" iMac thinking the situation was hopeless. But thought hey, let me try going down this path. Voila! Problem solved! This bootable installer of El Capitan enabled me to do a fresh install without incident. The El Capitan USB-3 installer drive shipped to me quickly and came with clear documentation, and even an offer for free support if I ran into trouble. This was a remarkably great experience!
