I bought two of these lamps since they were on deal for 16.99, figured why not try them. I love my lamp! The remote needs to charge before it works, so if your remote doesn't work, let the really strong magnets grab it and charge it up for a bit, then try again. I haven't tried it on the switch that it will eventually be plugged into (wall switch controlling an outlet), so it might be annoying if it always brings back the default (both on, full bright), but if that is the case I'll probably end up using the remote to turn it on and off (remote keeps the brightness settings but turns both on by default). Assembly was great and I like how the power cord is situated in the pole (you have to plug the top part with the light into the next part of the pole that has a built in extension of the cord). The base is nice and sturdy. Overall, not to shabby for less than $20!

Yes i also had problem with remote at first.But please try this way.You need to charge the remote at least 10hours! Also try to turn off the light while plug in. It works for me and the product is perfect

The settings are amazing I've spent more money on less versatile objects that I've been disappointed in. Unfortunately like I read from a few other reviews the remote did not work however the buttons on the sides work just fine. Also the product maybe took 5 minutes to put together and the height is perfect!!!!

I love the lamp, awesome light, easy to assemble. Only issue we've had is the remote is CONSTANTLY charging, never reaches full, and refusing to pair with lamp.

This is a very intelligently designed lamp. First -- easy as pie to assemble. Second -- love the remote that attaches magnetically AND charges on the lamp's pole (so clever!!). Third -- the color and light level adjustments, separate for the up and task lights, are really useful. Light levels for resting, working, reading, etc. First time I've had those options on a standing lamp. Finally, it looks so freaking cool! Typically lamps of this type (up light and task light) have a very standard design and, certainly, the up light won't have physical adjustments (this one can turn almost 90 degrees to the right and left). This one looks really modern and attractive. And the price is so good! Love it!

Could not get remote to work until I held power button while it was charging.

So many options of lighting level and directions! Best lighting purchase in awhile! I'm older and I'm actually tired of buying older things that keep giving you one option of lighting. This has made my day!

This lamp is absolutely amazing! The price is fair, the material feels great (metal body with a sturdy stand), the brightness levels go up to bright enough to light up a small room, you can adjust the warmth and each lamp head separately. I bought two! Soso pleased with this purchase!! It looks great!! I got it for around 25$ with a discount.
