I had some very dry skin starting around my nostrils and when down the creases around my nose. I figured it would go away if I moisturized more often during the day. Nope, it spread to between my brows and places on my cheeks. Tried plain old aloe after the spreading started, they helped with most of the border places on my face, then I saw this product and gave it a try, it got rid of all my dry spots and the especially the spots around my nostrils where it was the worst causing cracked skin and pimples right in the inner corners. I am going to keep this as my main moisturizer. It also seems to keep my skin clearer than the other moisturizers I have used.

Works great for you face after the shower.Used this in combination with another cream to clear facial scarring.

Aloderma makes a bunch of different skin care products and most everything they make comes with an affordable price tag or at least a more moderate price tag than numerous other brands. Out of all the Aloderma products I've tried, all were excellent to outstanding except for one.This is the first "Clearing Gel" I've seen or used from any company and I must say this product is impressive. At about $11 for the tube I wasn't expecting much. I've used a number of Aloe Vera based moisturizers, hand sanitizers and similar products and almost all of them left my skin feeling somewhat soft but almost always dried out. They were certainly NOT things I would want to put on my face or other sensitive skin. Based on those products it seemed like there would be a good chance this would get used once and tossed in the trash.That was not the case and all. This "Clearing Gel" is fantastic! It is virtually unscented and has a VERY slight scent. Maybe it is Aloe? I'm not sure, but for me it was not strong enough to bother worrying about. I'm generally not a fan of scented skin care products like this but I'd consider this one unscented.When using this, you can rub it on and wash it off or rub it on and leave it there like an overnight mask or a day cream. I opted for the night cream and day cream type use and it was great either way. This product doesn't dry out my skin at all. It does not leave it oily either. It does not weigh down my skin. It just leaves it feeling nice and soft, supple, moisturized and great overall.This is an awesome product. I'd call it unisex. It you want a great facial moisturizer that can be used ANY time for any amount of time and want a bargain price of between $10 and $15, this is about as good as it gets. I think this works as well as some moisturizers/day creams/overnight masks that cost $100+ This is a MUCH better deal than more expensive products!

Got this to try out on my mom. She suffers from super oily skin on the face and has struggled to find products over the years that actually help reduce the oil and keep it under control. I saw that this has oil controlling capabilities and decided to give it a try. I wouldn’t say we’re blown away quite yet because she hasn’t used it long enough, but the initial impression is great. It leaves her skin incredibly soft and smooth. Not tight and uncomfortable. Unfortunate as it is, your face HAS to maintain some oils for your skin’s overall health. Anything that strips it all away will leave you feeling dry, chafed, tight, and just generally uncomfortable. She didn’t get that feeling with this stuff, just an overall pleasant finish on her face that feels good. Let’s use the term “properly hydrated”.Regarding acne, I honestly don’t think this stuff can do anything for acne on its own, especially considering what’s causing it for you could be a mountain of different things. However, given that aloe vera can provide a number of health benefits, it’s just an all-around good option for more natural approaches to selfcare. It has been proven to do a number of things for the body, so save for any of the other chemicals in this gel, I don’t see how using it can do anything other than aid in the overall health of the skin on your face. The soft and hydrated feeling is more than enough of a perk to try it out, especially if that’s all you’re looking for in a facial product. I can’t speak to how it would react with other things, so consider that heavily before using and if you have a dermatologist, speak with them before putting literally anything on your face. My mom has not experienced any adverse effects, but I can only vouch for our experience. For now, I’d consider it a 5-star facial care product.
