It does the job
This product comes with 6 height adjustment sections, a top and a bottom piece. This is all PLASTIC. The pieces all connect with plastic connectors that fit into each piece. This is NOT like the aluminum ones that you can adjust to any size. What you do is add or remove any of the 6 adjustment sections to make it shorter or higher. The base is quite large, making it stable, and the tops are rounded to protect your cover. Those are great partsFor me, it holds up the cover and does the job.

Not the easiest to use
It is not the easiest to get in place as the pole wants to fall over when pulling the cover on. Once it is in place though, it does its job on keeping the boat cover elevated to keep water from pooling. A little wider base and this pole would be great.

It's ok
Not as heavy duty as hoped because it keeps tipping over, so doesn't help with our situation and we still have to siphon water

You get what you pay for
I wanted a few extra support poles for my pontoon boat cover, but didn't want to spend a lot. Initially these worked OK, but wind or rain easily knocked them down. Pretty soon the plastic started cracking and I went through all the extra PVC pieces. If you are using poles inside where you don't have to deal with any outdoor elements (wind, rain, storms, etc) then these are probably sufficient. If you need something sturdier, I would stick to the metal poles. I still do use this base with my metal pole, so not all was lost.
