I'm 6'0 tall and still have room to spare on wearing these. They most likely would fit fine.

They are raised a bit; however in my experience they do not catch. The stocking is thick enough that it doesnt feel rough or heavy. I wear these a lot with my rhinestone dress and they look wonderful.
