RockvilleRCM03 Pro Studio Recording Condenser Microphone Mic+Metal Shock Mount, Black

This is one of those products I have to qualify with the antecedent performs well “at its price point”. It is built well; very solid. It is a very attractive mic from the body to the detachable, logo’d, metal pop filter and the sturdy, included shock mount. It feels like quality and performs pretty well... but... As a microphone to be used primarily for voice over work, the sound is a bit “tinny” to me. I have a very deep voice and had hoped for more warmth through mic. My workhorse mic is an AKG Perception 200 which has exceptional range and very warm vocal “lows”. My intention was to use this as a back-up mic but I don’t think it’s a good match with my voice. I believe it is more suited (sound wise) to higher toned singing voices and imagine it would perform well as a mic for an acoustic guitar or other acoustic instrument in a studio setting. I was a little disappointed when I contacted Rockville looking for a hard case or at least a recommendation of a hard case for the mic but they advised Rockville doesn’t make one and they had no recommendations for a third party case.Overall I’m happy to have the microphone as one component of my home studio, though I won’t use it much for my primary work in voice over and narration.

I've only had the mic for a week, so my experience with it is limited. From the recordings I did as a test, this mic has a pleasing wamth, that I wasn't expecting. It's fairly quiet (not a large amount of self noise), though not as quiet as some more expensive mics I have. I was surprised by how well the mic reproduced detailed sounds like subtle string rattle and mouth sounds (sounds that, though we avoid them in recording as much as possible, create the feel of "liveness"). That kind of sensitivity to detail probably is related to the smaller capsue size. I may buy another for my drawer, and use them as a stereo pair. Overall, I would say, great bang for the bucks.

Im not an audiohead by any means, but this mic def stepped up our audio game. We record a podcast and audiobooks while on the road in our camper. So canceling out background noise is huge for us. Where our other mics used to pick up birds and bugs in the distance this mic limits that significantly. The build quality of the mic is also very nice from an amateur pov. We use this with an isolation shield and a presonus 24c through adobe audition.

I was looking for a mic that will not break my bank account. This was the best one for the price, and then some. So happy with the results. I am streaming games, this made my voice sounded like as good as you hear me face to face :)Beginners? Well, not necessarily... anyone can use this, even pros!

I have sang in 5000 dollar microphones. This has been blowing my mind.

Its light not heavy like the dynamic microphones. I have yet to find my dynamic microphones to compare similarities and differences in detail. Though this microphone highly details every aspect of the vocal and makes a beautiful pop every time i clunk my chair or tapy foot. So i “tap tap tap it in” Oh wait no that Adam Sandler chiming in. Works great with iphone and Mac. Has a crisp as an apple crunch detail like its someone doing it or eating right next to me. I prefers using stereo mono headphone switches with volume knobs on each speak to adjust for when iphone splits it to two channels left channel right channel. So i can switch to mono every time i want to here both channels combined first i used noise gate to miss the background noises. Keep in mind best product for a lowest cost quality high micro studio i have found is this and Focus rite scarrlett pr any of them work well for playing and singing.

Mic sounds great.... couldn't be happier based on the pric. However the shock mount is god awful!!! The bands pop off ALL THE TIME. I am now in the market for a replacement because it is so bad. Hopefully I will find a good one for my GOLDEN MIC. FYI, I make YT videos and stream and it is my go to mic.

The Sound Of This Mic Is Great. To Me It Sounds Better Than My Blue Yeti. The Mic Is Top Quality. If You want More Bang For Your Buck I Recommend This Mic.

De lo mejor que hay con relación calidad-precio. A demás me llegó mucho antes de lo programado. Muy recomendado para estudio casero.
