Been using this Reolink 4MP solar powered CCTV for over 18 months now, it self charges with sunlight, catches & records what you ask it to do, the microphone on it (which I did not know it had when I bought it) works extremely good, you can hear what people are saying down the street. The night vision is extremely clear, the motorised pan & tilt work brilliantly & you zoom in using your own phones capability. It has just loads of internal settings to choose from & you get roughly 14 months recordings on a 128gb micro sd card. I can definitely recommend this CCTV camera to anyone, in fact I actually do.

The product is good value for money self install CCTV using wifi. I was was slightly worried about the self install bit, but online videos and good self install software worked very well.It is not as good as hardwired but I expected that. That said the quality and ease of use is great using an App on my phone. I have two of these units one started to not charge properly, I contacted Reolink. They were great did remote diagnosis once provided with access to the Camera, identified an issue and exchanged it for a new one. 10/10 well done the reolink team.

The good:Surprisingly easy setup. Connects to home wifi and allows remote viewing and operation of the Pan/tilt once you've made a free Reolink login.Solar-backed battery is amazing. Even through the depths of winter it's never dropped below 85% full. Frequent usage will probably affect this though.The solar panel can be mounted independently (~up to 2m away) of the camera unit, so allowing best positioning for camera view and power gathering.The mobile phone app is quite well featured, allowing setup of sensitivity, exclusion zones, alarm and notifications (and loads more).Exclusion zones allow the camera to ignore parts of its field of view and completly ignore objects below certain sizes.Remote operation over internet and mobile (while away from the wifi) is like magic. I hope it doesn't have too many security issues...?The bad:Best detection is when people of cars move ACROSS the field of view rather than towards the camera. This means that the camera is a bit slow to detect people walking straight up a driveway, and you can fool it by running directly towards the camera (you're under it and out of view by the time it's reacted).Careful positioning should help to minimise this problem, but it could be a problem in a small front garden.The ugly:None

Straight out of the box the Reolink Argus PT CCTV was an easy set up connecting via my Android phone, IPad not so good. The supplied QR code rectified this issue and IPad now connected.Reolink Argus PT connected quickly to our home WiFi with ease.The ease of use of Reolink within the supplied app makes this a very quick setup of the camera settings. I will come back once charged to provide more details on overall use as this is to give our drive way an 180° view from high level 24/7, my current camera's fail to provide.

October 2022 Updates. Have had a bunch of these cameras in my possession for months now. What I write is my experiences with multiple cameras.1. The camera has the most unreliable wifi connection I have ever witnessed. You can have a dozen devices all connecting to your wifi happily, but the camera will not. Or it may. On, off, randomly it goes.2. Even with perfect Wifi and internet (you must also have perfect internet), the camera will randomly refuse to connect. It will work one minute and stop working the next.3. You can only access the camera through the Reolink Windows/Android applications, and many times the Reolink servers RANDOMLY dismiss your camera, so you cannot access it at all, as if it does not exist. It works one minute and then goes down for 3 weeks (yes, 3 weeks). Then magically re-appears one day, out of the blue. Then disappears a few days later. It is ocmpletely off your hands, it has to do with the Reolink servers which you do not control.4. If you do manage to connect to the camera it has a ton of features, no other camera has. Top of its class.5. But it is so unpredictable with hours/days/weeks of downtime, effectively useless.6. This camera and the user both require a good internet connection, so what happens if the camera is at a remote location with no (good) internet? You cannot even start it, do not even bother taking it out of the box. Even if you are standing next to it you can not use it.I must re-emphasize item (3). Even when everything is setup fantastically on your side, and the camera is working like a dream, and you are viewing live streams, and downloading captured videos, then, randomly, one day, it stops connecting to the Reolink back-ebd servers and that's it. For days or weeks. In the meantime while the Reolink application says "I cannot see this camera", the camera itself is perfectly fine and is sending you emails when the PIR detects movement!Completely and utterly unreliable.

Vraiment bien même lorsqu’on est en vacances. Détection et avertissement du moindre mouvement. Je recommande à 200 %. Vraiment pas utile d’acheter des appareils hors de prix!

Ho acquistato per la prima volta questo genere di telecamera con alimentazione solare e anticipo che sono pienamente soddisfatto della scelta.Si vede che è uno spettacolo.Anche l'audio è molto buono.Semplice e intuitiva l App per l'uso e gestione della telecamera o più telecamere.....Ovviamente permette di gestire anche dispositivi diversi della stessa marca .L'installazione e il riconoscimento della telecamera è semplice e veloce, basta seguire i pochi passaggi.Per usufruire di maggiori servizi, ad esempio la registrazione nel cloud o altro bisogna pagare,ma basta inserire una schedina SD ed ecco che il gioco è fatto.A mio parere per quello che costa è ottima!

Die Einbindung in das WLAN fkt. ohne Probleme mit der Schnellstart- Anleitung.Danach machte ich mich an die Montage aussen am Haus. WLAN gecheckt, super speed.Also montieren in etwa 6m Höhe. War ein Fehler.Die Objektgrössen einstellen waren "erfolgreich", funktionierten leider überhaupt nicht.Die gespeicherten Streams waren eine Katastrophe, obwohl die Live- Ansicht nicht gemeckert hat.Danach nochmal lesen im Netz, empfohlene Höhe etwa 3-4m, nun das ganze demontiert und heruntergesetzt auf ca. 3m, und siehe da, alles prima.PIR- Erkennung, Aufzeichnung und Piepton- Alarme funktionierten super am Handy und PC, tags und nachts. (Client NEW unbedingt installieren !)Pro: Das PT fkt. ausgezeichnet und easy einzustellen, alle s wird aufgezeichnet.Cons: die Solarzelle fing überhaupt nichts ein, (Wetter im Dezember ohne jede Sonne), Akku sackte ab.Darum ein zusätzliche Leitung für ein Ladegerät installiert, das ich nach etwa 4 Tagen einschalte, alles gut jetzt.Im Frühjahr/ Sommer werde ich die Solarzelle nochmal anschliessen, bis dahin Ladegerät.Achtung 1: Nach der Ausseninstallation das Ladekabel anstecken (Ladegerät oder Solarzelle) geht nicht wegen Obergefummel, dafür habe ich kleines USB-C Adapterkabel angeschlosssen (Breite max. 11,8mm !!,sonst passt es nicht), und werde wechseln zwischen Solar und Ladegerät.Achtung2: Die Höhe von max. 3m ernst nehmen !!Achtung3.: Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit der Aufzeichnungen und Alarmmeldungen hängt direkt von demam Ort verfügbaren Wlan-speed ab (bei mir 200-220 mbit/s)Den Remote Zugriff via Internet habe ich noch nicht bewältigt (über Fritzbox), bin aber noch am Arbeiten.Vielleicht Rezension später.Fazit: Super Kamera, eigene Erfahrungen brachten Erfolg.Update: Habe jetzt das Solarpanel angeschlossen (bisher zur Sicherheit Ladegerät), es lädt auch bei bewölktem Himmel, obwohl nicht Südseite, sieht bisher gut aus, wird auch in den Batterie- Einstellungen mit Sonnensymbol angezeigt.Für den Fernzugriff via Smartphone musste ich ein wenig üben, anstelle IpSec konfigurierte ich das VPN mit Wireguard und Fritzbox. Die originale Reolink- Anleitung konnte ich nicht verwenden, da sie die DYnDNS mit no-ip beschreibt und für mich zu kompliziert war. (Bin kein Nerd). Wireguard ist easy to useund sollte auf die Support- Seiten aufgenommen werden.Musste aber die Hardware- Decodierung am Smartphone (Xiaomi) ausschalten, da sonst die Sequenzen zwar geladen, aber auf dem Fone nicht angezeigt werden.Muss aber nicht allgemeingültig sein, bei anderen Modellen sicher nicht nötig.Nun fkt. alles, wie ich mir es vorgestellt habe, 4,7 Sterne bleiben (wegen VPN).Update 23.01.2024 Die Bewegungsmarkierung (Beta) musste ich ausschalten, da"Bei Klar- Einstellung" nicht nur normal Personen, Autos und Tiere, sondern sogar verbliebene Schneehaufen als bewegte Objekte markiert wurden.

En los últimos 4 años he comprado 9 cámaras Reolink, para mi y familiares y no hemos tenido ninguna incidencia. Funcionan perfectamente, te llegan los avisos al móvil cuando detecta movimientos y tiene gran calidad de imágen. Te ahorras en alarmas de cuotas mensuales.
