They have so much chemistry but this isn't the time to try out a relationship. Luke is a protector by nature and puts Taylor's safety first.I got sucked into this series and had to jump into the next book in the series immediately. These books have political intrigue, murder, secrets and finding love in the middle of it all. Taylor has baggage and has distanced herself from her family to try and find her way. I love how the Horus group men step in to help even though the sisters aren't close. Luke fits right in with this group of tough guys. Can't wait to jump into the last book!

This book opens a good conversation on child abuse and rape of children and ungrateful adults who God Blessed with beautiful children and the life long Damage it causes. This could also open a conversation about women who are Evil and forget that God blessed them with the ability to have children. When there are women who have beautiful spirits and can not have children and would not think of abusing such a gift. This book opened the way to so many good conversations, that I digress and forget to say this book was well written and I Loved the Leading Lady and Leading Man. The title was fitting. # shine the light on surviors of abuse. Loved this book❤

Taylor is trying to escape her past and shady parents who have just been indicted. The rich girl being on her own and alone for 3 years is suddenly thrust into Detective Luke Vasquez's arms when her car explodes. The LAPD, FBI, & Secret Service all want a piece of her to help keep her parents in jail. Political ties, affairs, & child grooming has been Taylor's life and she finds a somewhat different experience with Luke. Luke is falling for Taylor and wants to introduce her to his filthy proclivities and has to take it slow so she doesn't shatter. Decent plot with less graphic sex.

I love Ainsley's writing and this book did not disappoint. I had been waiting for this conclusion to her story. I didn't have enough time to re read the other books in this series. It was actually heartbreaking how Taylor was used by her Mother and Father. It explained alot about the dynamics of the sisters. Though this is a stand a lone it is better if you read the whole series. It does not disappoint. Kudos Ainsley Booth. Now I can't wait for Jason's story!

Loved it! I have read all of Ainsley's book and I absolutely love them all! This is one of my favorites. Luke is so sensitive to Taylor's needs and wants, the perfect gentlemen! I might have to go back to the beginning and start over just waiting for the next book in this series!!

I was about to dive into the series finale when I realized I missed this installment. I'm not sure how since I've anxiously waited for Taylor Dashford Reid's story since she was first introduced. It was obvious her reckless and wild behavior was caused by years of abuse, and I needed to see her save herself.I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't pretty or even complete by normal standards, but she triumphed, and I loved it.

Having read the first three bodyguard books, I couldn't believe I would ever like Taylor. Ainsley has Taylor on a new path. She is emotionally damaged, almost ruined by her mother. While she is trying to move forward her past won't let her. A tough LA detective, becomes her friend, protector, and finally her lover.Because it's Ainsley writing this you know the sex will be a bit kinky, sweaty and very healing. Enjoy reading how Taylor finds that she deserves to be loved. (Even if it hurts)

I'm so glad 'bad girl' Taylor finally got her story!👍 It's a dark, sad & twisted tale that led her to make & release 'That Video'. We learn why she did it & it's not what we thought at all 😕She's lived quietly in L.A. for 3 years. Off of everyone's radar, no social media or press. The LAPD get asked to investigate a tip given to a federal agency & the next thing we know all hell has broken lose!!😳💥Detective Luke Vasquez is the Officer assigned when Taylor's world explodes. He's immediately suspicious but despite her sordid past, he believes her & not what they're trying to be told!!👍 He sets out to help & then protect at all costs, until the real threat is dealt with.These two are prickly, snarky & unsure of each other initially. As time goes on a real friendship develops and then more. He shows her she may be broken but she's not depraved or bad like she's always thought!😍🙏 Their chemistry is hot 🔥🔥 and their romance is a delight!!💘I love these books 👍🌟Debbie, 1970, UK

I have read the previous books in this series, so was aware of the character Taylor.We find out more about her troubled childhood and when she crosses paths with Luke the chemistry is instant. Although Luke begins by resisting any involvement with Taylor, they cannot deny the mutual attraction.I love the writing atyle, the development of the characters and the hot bedroom scenes of couorse!

So much better than the last book and returning to form. Both characters carry some form of luggage and some of it is very unpleasant. As some of the reviews point out the princess wasn’t likeable but redeemed here with an explanation for her behaviour making the reader much more sympathetic. Good read.

Loved that the characters proved you can never judge on first impressions, Taylor in a previous Horus book appeared as a right bitch! But as her story unfolds amidst power and corruption, she won me over and Luke was the Cherry on top.

Always knew Taylor's story would be explosive, and that's exactly what we got. Along with Luke to hold her & hug her & love her.
