I tried using to detect wood frame on an old ceiling but 80% of time it does not detected.My opinion,don't buy.

Gutes Produkt, leider war die Batterie defekt
Was suchen und finden von Leitungen angeht ist der Stud finder super, leider kam bei mir das Produkt mit einer leeren(oder defekten) Batterie an, diesen 9V Block musste ich dann leider nachkaufen, nervige Angelegenheit.

Zu viele Fehlalarme bzw. Leitungen nicht erkannt
Habe das Gerät vergleichsweise mit anderen (Bosch Professional und ein uraltes Gerät von Proxxon) an Stellen geprüft, wo die Leitungsverlegung bekannt war. Teilweise wurden Leitungen nicht erkannt, teilweise wurde bei ganzen Flächen alarmiert, teilweise lag die Identifizierung mehrere Zentimeter neben der Leitung. Beim besten Willen nicht zu gebrauchen. Da muss man sich fragen, wie die teilweise sehr guten Bewertungen zusammen gekommen sind.Absolut keine Empfehlung, hier geht es um Sicherheit und die Vermeidung von großen Schäden.
