Not sure what to say about this. Maybe I just bought the wrong product.

Used these to replace the rusted lynch pins on the wheels of a kayak trolley. As they'll be exposed to salt water, I'll expect them to corrode with natural use, but there's enough in the pack for me to replace them every couple of years and not worry about it.
