I love this collar! It's very durable and thick. I use it whenever my dog is playing with other dogs. The thick collar protects his neck and the handle is useful if I need to pull him away if either dog gets too rough. It's adjustable too. I got a size Large and with a neck size of 18 inches, there is 9 inches long of velcro if you wanted to add a patch with their name or something. 3 inches of the velcro is more raised than the rest by half a centimeter though so you might want to keep that in mind if you do get a patch to fit. The inside of the collar is soft, but loose fur sticks to it easily. That doesn't bother me too much though. Overall, it's a great collar and I highly recommend it!

I've only had this collar for a few weeks and It's already starting to fray and come apart. My dog isnt particularly super active so the durability is terrible.EDIT: I changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars since the seller has contacted me and refunded my item. I must have had a defective collar. Glad they stand buy their product.

Due to how the collar is made. I suggest getting the next larger size, so the velcro will be long enough to adhere properly.

My pup is 70lbs already at 7 months old so he can be a handful when he gets pent up puppy energy. He is already very good on a leash but it’s wonderful to have that handle on his collar rather than just on his harness. Speaking of harness, as soon as he out grows his current one I am getting him a matching tactical style harness, because very soon he will begin his training to be my mobility service dog and the ability to add custom patches everywhere that tell people not to touch him or that he is in training is perfect. As an added bonus I love how it looks on him.

We have been on the hunt for a heavy duty sturdy collar for our Siberian Husky she’s a year in half and has torn/ chewed through 3 collars. I’m really happy with this collar. It’s Heavy duty, durable, sturdy. I don’t see how she’ll get out of this collar. It has Velcro straps to make the collar tighter and a clip that has to be pressed to release the collar off of her neck. Once we adjusted it to her neck and snug with a two finger gap she can’t get out of it. We purchased a large for her and it’s perfect. The XL would have been to big. If y’all have a collar chewer furr baby this one will definitely do. Very happy with our purchase.

This collar has an excellent metal latching system. I love that on this collar. The velcro underneath the latch is not long enough for my huge 130 pound male Rottweiler mix. The only thing holding it on him is the metal latch which is not going to come undone so I feel safe enough to use it on him. This collar will fit normal sized dogs just fine. The handle is very nice. The customer service is top notch.☆☆☆☆☆ I would buy from them again....

Using for 4 mo old pit bull puppy that is growing like a weed. A little bulky at the moment, but she will quickly grow into it. Only thing I dont like is it is velcro all around, the buckle was a little deceiving. Was hoping it was only open where buckle was and the buckle secured it shut, concern with velcro all around is she may get out of it when she is having her fits during leash training and run into the street.

What I love about this is that my dog, Red, loves this! He had a Kong collar and I think it may have just been a bit rough on his neck and he chewed it up. We take off his collar for bed and put in on every morning, he truly likes having it on! Otherwise he wouldn’t be as receptive to putting it on. It’s soft on the inside but feels durable. The handle on the neck is nice since it gives you something to hold onto them with while you put on their leash. Overall, great collar!!
