Easy to assemble, a little scuffed, one piece arrived broken, though easily fixed with a little glue. Great table, seems sturdy during the short time I’ve had it unboxed and assembled. Very heavy- FYI. I recommend this product

I really wanted to love this table but it came completely broken . Don’t want to re order and go through the hassle of having to return it again . Wood is also cheap .

I found this table on another site first, but the $750 did not agree with my wallet. I was happy and surprised to find the same product pictures and description on Amazon for just over $400. Quite a bargain, or is it!? It turns out, although undisclosed, this may be a scratch’n’dent grade of the same product. It sure arrived at my home like that. Some damage happened during transport, but there are clear quality issues from production.This is a heavy package and that may explain the transport blemishes as delivery services typically send one poor guy who has to get the stuff off the truck and to the front door. I understand that, but don’t appreciate it when it comes to receiving a damaged product. Since it’s so heavy, it’s also difficult to return, so it’s double the annoyance.There are a total of 8 screws that need to be assembled, and the needed Allen key was nowhere to be found in my box. That’s not an issue for me as I prefer power tools anyway. So, assembly is fairly easy with the shorter screws fastening the massive legs to the table top and the remaining long screws hold the brace between the slabs. I may have missed instructions, but most will not need them anyway. The weight of the main parts, however, may require a second person for some.The description is unclear and one can assume that the “hardwoods” reference means solid wood underneath the walnut vernier (thin layer of wood). That turned out to be wishful thinking on my end, while the description likely left intentionally room for such interpretation. But the MDF is sturdy and not a bad thing, but just not what I somehow expected for the price.The biggest issue to me are the transportation blemishes and even more so the obvious manufacturing issues. By that I mean the horrible quality in some places like the corners, and the numerous surface imperfections. That really takes away from the experience and makes the $400 a fairly high price for this quality. This is unacceptable for some, and rightly so. Some may be able to fix the minor blemishes easily, but the bigger ones are there to stay, including the rough corners.Once assembled, the table is very sturdy and stable, but since this is a MDF top, I wouldn’t sit on the corners without risking breaking it.

This walnut table was the perfect addition to my home office. The wood grain tones are very nice and the price was great! A very solid piece of furniture.
