This is a nice well made stretcher but when I was in the army we had emergency stretchers made out of canvas and wood that seemed better. I thought this would be a newer version but that's not the case. The stretcher is made for a skinny person and as others have mentioned has small legs on it which makes putting the stretcher under someone or dog, etc. very difficult. We had to put our dog on to a blanket and then hoist him onto the stretcher. The poles lock in place long ways but not across and this also made it very difficult for transporting our large dog. I made it work for our German Shepard but if you plan on using this for a big dog or anyone who is not skinny, I'd keep looking.

Purchased as a preparedness measure, to carry an aging German Shepherd to the car/vet, if needed. Width is 21 inches, so a bit narrow but quality, ease of use, and 350 lb weight capacity make it a great product.The metal feet are great for keeping the cot off the ground BUT downside is it does not allow you to easily ‘slide’ pet or person onto the stretcher from a flat position.Love that the product can be folded for easy storage, but wish the open stretcher had a locking mechanism on the metal frame (center part where the 2 bars meet).Happy with purchase. No regrets.

Bought this for our athletic department at the high school I coach a Football camp for. I see our trainers bring it out in its carrying case to every practice and game since it arrived in the mail. I’ve seen them carry each-other in it testing the stretcher in the hallway and they seem to love it and have asked for another one. We unfortunately had a concussed player during a practice that needed to be carried off with the stretcher whereas before, the trainers would have waited for the cart to carry him off or treat the player in the middle of the field which would have ended our practice early. Deserves a review.

Built incredibly well and folds away nicely. The stretcher comes with rubber feet so it didn’t scratch the gym floor we were using. Great product.

I used this stretcher recently as a bed for one of my friends in a large group that was visiting me. All the couches were taken and this turned out to be a very good option! The feet on this gurney stretcher kept my friend off the ground and with a blanket he was comfortable! It folds up nice and neatly too unlike my old air mattress which is a deflated blob to deal with. I highly recommend!

This thing is great, lightweight, well built, and is super compact. This was bought specifically for if we ever need to carry our Saint Bernard if he was to ever hurt himself and needed transport to the vets office. Highly recommend this product.

This was purchased for my children that have a deer farm. They were so pleased with it, not sure if they have actually used it but it looked like it would be durable.

I used to carry my 160lbs dog to the vet visits before he passed away. The stretcher maintained its purpose.
