I decided to give tooth powder a go this time instead of a tube of natural toothpaste. I can say I'm quite satisfied so far. I have never used a powder and this is a first. Toothpaste that's not paste. On first use Uncle harry's has a weird salty taste but it leaves your mouth feeling super clean and minty afterwards. The minty taste lasts for a while afterwards. After a few days use I've noticed a big difference in the gums surrounding a poorly fitted crown. The gums around that crown don't hurt as bad as they did if at all anymore. My teeth also feel less sensitive. This product seems way better then a potassium nitrate toothpaste. I combine this with a flouride mouthwash like toms whole care and my mouth feels fantastic afterwards. I've been using all kinds of tooth pastes both natural and not. I've spent like a solid two years looking for a good combination of dental hygiene product and this seems to be it. This stuff works better then sensodine, colgate, crest, dr.schefffield's(my favorite goto natural toothpaste), magic mud and the jar version of uncle harry's toothpaste. I highly recommend this stuff.

I am not new to holistic/natural dentistry. I was introduced to remineralization by Living Libations products. I tried their liquid and toothpaste, but I was allergic to something in there because it would turn the skin around my lips red and it would get swollen as well.I bought Uncle Harry's products (Mouthwash, tooth powder, and remineralizing liquid), and they are far superior to any product I've ever tried.Let me give you a little back story on my teeth. When I was young, I got sick while some of my adult teeth were growing in, and as a result, quite a few of my teeth had weakened enamel. Combined with my parents not showing me how to properly brush and floss/take care of my teeth, I had a lot of problems. I'm 22 years old and I've had quite a few cavities, a root canal, and eventually they removed the root canal tooth, and put in an implant. My teeth are also pretty crowded, so right now I'm completing invisalign.My teeth are stained from poor oral hygiene as a kid, and coffee and tea.I wanted to find products that whitened my teeth, kept my teeth healthy, and helped to really keep plaque away. Normally when I brush my teeth (after every meal) within 10 minutes my breath would start to smell bad and I could feel a layer of plaque starting to build.This tooth powder along with Uncle Harry's mouthwash has changed my life. My teeth stay plaque free and fresh for about 12 hours and even after eating. This stuff is really potent, and you only need a small amount, so it'll last a while. I transferred it to a jar like other reviewers said, so that I can use it easier than in a squeeze bottle. Works great. Helps with tooth sensitivity, and polishes them lie having just left the dentist.The bad.. the flair. Ooph! Terrible. And salty? OMG. I think my blood pressure rises a few points every time I use it, it's that salty. But grin and bare it for 2 minutes and get the job done, this stuff does work well, and is worth the momentary discomfort.

My teeth have been in pretty good condition over the last several months of using this. I originally began using this because i was experiencing wisdom tooth pain, and was in transition to find a dentist to take care of that. I noticed most of my pain went away while using this, and even after having that wisdom tooth removed , I still continue to use this tooth powder. It just leaves a nice clean feeling that is better than other natural toothpastes. The taste is a bit strong and takes time getting use to.

I love this! My teeth feel so clean!! Love the taste too.. Not sure if it will fix my teeth or gums ?? The no chemicals or added thickeners is a win win !!

This stuff definitely works for brushing your teeth. My teeth and mouth feel clean after use. The minty flavor is quite strong at first, but it fades pretty fast. Especially after rinsing. The flavor is also a bit salty, which is normal for a baking soda base. It's not really gritty. It's a pretty fine powder.It's perfect for traveling, camping, or at home. I take it whenever I travel because the container is smaller and easier to fit in my toiletry bag. I think this will last me about a year since it really doesn't take much to brush your teeth.
