Excellent cuts really well and last a long while

I needed a strong burr bit for widening a hole in my metal garage door, I read the reviews and decided on this bit... It didn't do the job, it only lasted a few minutes before losing it's edge and I ended up using another one from somewhere else, to finish the job. I would not recommend this to a friend!

Very clearly advertised as 1/4" shank so I bought one for a 1/4" collet on a die grinder. Turns out to be 6mm NOT the anticipated 6.35mm so it doesn't clamp as tight as it should & can work loose. Very disappointed by this as I researched in great detail to find some genuine 1/4" (6.35mm) shank burrs & thought this was it. Calling something by a size that it actually isn't is never going to work in the engineering industry.Basically 1/4" is 6.35mm NOT 6mm.

I use these for cleaning up metal on vehicle body work, to get into awkward places. The last one I had (different make) lasted for years until i lost it. I've done one car with this one and its already dulling at the end where it gets most used. Going to try and find another one the same as the one i had, as this just doesn't cut it.

Bought it to grind down excess weld. Complete waste of money. I'm sure it would work for softer materials, but no good for me.

These are great bits. They are very sharp and hold up well. Worth buying the entire set, as apposed to the individual bits that are available (from the same brand).

Hasta ahora muy bien el desempeño. Los ocupo para rebajar los bordes de soldadura en piezas pequeñas. Utilizo una rectificadora neumatica y trabajan excelente. Hasta ahora e usado una sola pieza y no a perdido filo.

It was used to burrow a nice deep groove in aluminum for a weld repair. The bit held up no problem, regular drill driver used to power the bit.

Ok, almost like butter. But I was very impressed, I thought I had several hours work in front of me; was done in 30 minutes! That 1/4" steel plate didn't stand a chance!
