I have only used this pizza wheel once to cut pancakes into bite size pieces for my grandchild. Worked perfectly. Seems pretty sharp. The handle is pretty cheaply made not sure how well it's going to stand up. I only gave it 3 stars because the handle portion is really short, so it's a little difficult to hold on to. The blade diameter is much smaller than a traditional pizza wheel, so you can't cut thicker items with it, such as bar cookies. I have always used my pizza cutter for many other things. I was attracted to this cutter, because the blade is removable for cleaning. When I first opened it, the blade wouldn't separate from the handle, it took a little pressure to remove it. The center of the blade has a very cheap plastic grommet in it, much like the handle itself, I am not expecting it to hold up well. I definitely will not put it in the dishwasher, I fear doing so wouldn't greatly shorten the life span of the cutter.7/18/2020 Update, the 2nd time I used the pizza wheel, I cut 2 pizzas, it cut well until the blade broke in half. I am 4 days past the return window.7/20/2020 I contacted the seller about the blade, received a prompt and courteous response. They have already sent a replacement, honoring their lifetime guarantee. I was very pleased with how easy it was to cut my pizza, the blade breaking was a shock and hopefully a fluke. Fingers crossed the replacement will last much longer!

I have been completely converted to ceramic cutting implements, and am changing all my steel bladed implements over to ceramic. They're no sharper than steel blades when you buy them, but if you're careful not to chip them they stay sharp far longer than any type of steel does. This pizza cutter is just the same. Make sure you're not running over any chicken bones or olive pits and it should last forever. Easy to clean, easy to hold and operate, with an effective blade guard for when it's in the drawer, and I really can't see how it could be improved.

When you think of a pizza cutter you picture a long handle with a round stainless steel cutter on the end that you have to exert pressure with your wrist to get a good cut, but when I saw this new ergonomically designed pizza cutter from Cestari Kitchen I immediately realized this is a new way to cut pizza. The cutter is made in a way that when you grip it from the top the you get a nice smooth cut by just pushing down with your hand, a much more comfortable feeling. The blade is made from ceramic, sharper than a stainless steel blade and you won't find yourself having to saw back and forth across the pizza, this blade makes one cut in one pass. I have used this to cut flatbread, quesadilla's and pita bread too, works great. The handle opens up for easy cleaning and I just throw it in the dishwasher. Not that I get really excited about how an item is boxed, but this cutter comes in a really nice box with a foam cut out and a magnetic flap to keep it closed while storing. It makes a nice presentation when being bought as a gift. Included are a few pictures.

Fantastic Pizza Cutter. The first thing I noticed about this product, as I removed it from the Amazon padded envelope, was the nice box it was packaged in. You could easily wrap this up and give it as a gift to your favorite pizza loving friend or family member. After I opened it, I was very pleased to see the plastic guard of the cutting wheel. The wheel is very sharp, as you want and need it to be, and the guard keeps your fingers safe! Next and most importantly, is that it cut the pizza very well. And lastly it is very easy to clean. The cover just snaps off leaving the wheel and housing free to clean. I recommend this product!

This is a great product. First I love the cover on the blade. It makes me feel more comfortable when placing in the drawer - no worries about anyone cutting themselves. When I handed it to my husband to cut the pizza his comment was wow you got the cadillac version of a pizza cutter. We did and I am so happy about it. The blade is sharp and cuts the pizza nicely. Very easy to clean also. Highly recommend this cutter and I actually love all the products I have bought from this brand.

Overall I am pleased with this pizza cutter.  The ceramic blade is extremely sharp and you don't have to put much effort into cutting (definitely the sharpest pizza cutter I have used).  Also, I appreciate that you can take the blade completely out, as pizza cutters are typically annoying to clean.  There are some design issues however.  Upon initial use, I found it difficult and dangerous to remove the blade.  The clips to open the plastic piece are located near the blade itself and more force is required than one would expect to open the unit.  Maybe overtime it will get easier to open... I would suggest covering the blade prior to trying to open the unit.   Additionally, the handle design covers a large portion of the blade and I could imagine if you are cutting into a thick pizza things may get a bit messy. Despite these flaws, I would recommend this pizza cutter for the simple fact that the blade is superior to any other pizza cutter that I have used.  Yes, it is more expensive than your typical pizza cutter, however, if the ceramic blade holds up as it should, this pizza cutter is well worth the money!

Loved this cutter the first three times I used it. Then the fourth time the wheel split in half as I was cutting. Very disappointed; I thought this was going to be the pizza cutter I always wished for.

One of our favorite things to do with our kids is Pizza Night. We don't order, we have a great time picking out different frozen pizzas to try. One of the biggest issues we've had is finding a pizza cutter that was easy enough and safe enough for our kids to manage. You know they want to cut the pizza. So the Cestari Pizza Cutter Wheel was the answer to our Pepperoni Pizza Prayer (Please God, don't let them cut themselves). The easy to hold handle, with no slippage, was very easy for our special needs son to use. No worrying about cutting himself made for a really decent family experience. Since the parents make the pizza, the kids are in charge of clean-up. This pizza cutter was so easy to clean, unlike the last one that had pizza stuck to it, probably from months ago. I would highly recommend this pizza cutter.
