In Love!!!!
This is amazing. Sized perfectly for what I ordered. Iโm a 5โ7โ woman 175lbs. I ordered the 55โ and it fits great. Just to my ankles. Would like maybe a smidgeon more room in the waist to wrap more but not a big deal. I think if you are my height or shorter going up a size would probably be to long.

Quality Sacrificed
Love the color/print, great fit for my 5โ7โ frame, love the sleeve โpocketsโโฆ but, wish the cotton fabric was closer to medium weight (rather than very light weight), wish the 2โ collar/robe front edge had another layer of fabric sewn in to increase the garment durability including an added neck/shoulder gusset (see pic)โฆ I would love this robe to last a few years like my (now worn out) complimentary Tokyo hotel robe I absconded with in 2000!P.S. I would gladly pay more for a heavier/more durable garment.

A review of the 42 wide
If you compare the 42 wide measurements to the others, you may have questions. "How can the arm opening (C) be 7" smaller than the others?" "How will the shorter length (A) affect the overall fit?" I am 5'9" and 225 lbs., stocky build. I have another yukata in the "L"/"XL" size range, and it was impractical in that it dragged the ground. I am aware that there is a folding/ cinching/ tying technique to shorten it, but I needed something to throw on quickly, not go through a procedure each time, and my terry robe is very hot this time of year. Another problem with my other yukata is that I tore the arm seam trying to access the "pocket" located in the sleeve while wearing it. My new yukata solved all of these problems. The 12" arm measurement is actually very roomy, as this particular size has open sleeves (no "pockets"), so it is a true 12" opening, (not 9" of opening/ 9" of closed-stitch pocket like the others). This also meant that my obi was easy to find in the bag, not tucked into the sleeve (which seemed to really perplex some other buyers). This model does have a front pocket sewn on to the left side as well, which I find to be a more practical choice. Finally, the length falls just below my knees, which may be short for those who prefer ankle length, but I'm happy to not be tripping over it, and there is plenty enough length that I don't have to worry about "putting on a show' if I bend over. As expected, the cotton is light and cool, so this yukata is everything I was looking for. If you're wondering about the inside tag matching the descriptions, it is "100% cotton. Made in Japan".

XL Robe For M Sized Caucasian
Review #2. The M/L size should have fit, it was too small, and was returned. Just got the XL/61" length, put it in the washing machine with a dye catcher pad, and dried. It shrank, somewhat. DW told me it would have shrunk more if I had used hot water, alas, I'm good at a lot of things, not everything. Back to the robe. Arrived very stiff and indeed very long for a 5'6" giant like myself. Post wash, fabric was MUCH softer, with some shrinkage. DW will be shaving off about 4" from the bottom, adding 2 loops on the side for the Obi (yes, it is included, look in the Left sleeve), and possibly front pockets if there is enough selvage. The "proper" size for me was too tight across the chest and (ahem) the belly. The XL is fine, it's just long. If you are 5'9-6', length should be fine. DW insists that I repeat that if you are purchasing clothing from an Asian manufacturer, go up 2 sizes from their recommendation. Beautiful Yukata, very nice pattern, very pleasant fabric after washing, shoulders, arm length, chest, belly all fit very well after washing, just needed a bit of shortening. Would definitely buy again, and in a different pattern. I really like the white and deep sky blue dragons.

The Perfect Robe
I have always wanted a kimono robe to wear around my apartment on my days off. I wanted something a little more stylish and light weight. I am so happy with my choice.

Good Fit & Comfortable
The sizes listed in the ad are accurate. I did wash this in cool water on the gentle cycle in my washer and dried it on low heat, wrinkle control (gentle), in the dryer and had no shrinkage. For comparison on the size, I purchased the 55, Medium and it fits as I expected it to. I am 5-10, 175 lbs, 35-36 waist and the bottom of the garment touches the bottom of my ankles. Probably enough room for a slightly heavier person. It is very comfortable cotton and not too thin. Please be sure to follow the washing instructions and I think you will find this to be a good robe.

Size
Nice weight cotton fabric which is what I was looking for.Sizing: I am 5' 9" tall and 167 pounds. I bought the 58" and it comes down to the top of my feet. So it is actually about 3" to long. The 55" would be the right length.

Feels Horrible
While it says cotton on the label, I can't see how that could be the case. It feels rough like wearing a cheap tablecloth. Definitely not worth the $105 dollar price tag, super disappointing. I wouldn't even pay $50 for this.
