Sound clarity is very good, both for the speaker and the mic

I didn't expect it to be this good. The sounds is comparable to a 300-400 aed bluetooth speakers.I bought this speaker for an exchange gift. Instead I kept and send the anker to my friend.

one of my favorite speaker yet underrated. but quality wise, it was worth the money.

Compré la bocina con la idea de traerla en la bicicleta y me ha funcionado perfectamente para el propósito. Ha aguantado polvo, agua y varias buenas caídas sin ningún problema, solo una abolladura en la parte delantera. Su sonido es bueno en exteriores (incluso con el ruido de la ciudad) pero no llega muy lejos, es casi individual. Dentro de casa o en lugares no muy ruidosos tiene mejor alcance. A altos volúmenes se puede llegar a distorsionar, sin embargo, en exteriores no se percibe tanto la distorsión. La conectividad Bluetooth también es buena así como la vida de la batería. Si lo que buscan es una bocina para exteriores económica y con buenas características es una excelente opción.

March 2024 Update: well the speaker I had been using (the second i admit is in the box still but i tried it and it works great too) still works ... my only issue is the low battery life but considering the sound I am ok with that.I do have to say this is no longer my favorite sounding speaker but it is a CLOSE second place. My new favorite? ... Tribit's own XSound GO .... Ironically in my view ... the "XSound Surf's bigger brother" so to speak. It has better battery life (my only "real issue" with the Surf) AND somehow they made the sound even better ... I dont want to ham it up but ... it sounds "wider" (dont think of reverb) ... like more separated between frequencies. Tribit has impressed me so much with their speakers, (not returning the GOs to get this, for the record) I am even eyeing the "big brother" of the XSound Go's being The Maxsound Plus. It has the one option i wish the Go and the Surfs had ... a "music mode" to pull the bass down in some situations ... with the Surf and the GO that extra bass (think of a sub woofer "thump") is partly why its my favorite sounding speaker but sometimes i want to pull that back.Also other than two reviewers on Youtube "Alan Ross Reviews" and "Oluv's Gadgets" many of the Youtube sound samples of the Go and the Surf from Tribit do NOT do them justice. I have heard SOME videos where the Surf sounds terrible (bad mic recording it?) .. it sounds 1 MILLION times better to me in person than what I hear in the video.---------------------------------March 2022 Update: (cant remember when i did that last update but other than what I already mentioned below in the prior "update" the only .. so called issue I have and i say this SO loosely ... is that late at night at low volumes it has SUCH a punch even say with light jazz or classical, that I sometimes rather use one of my speakers that is more "neutral" sounding ... now any other time (and even late at night) ... it SOUNDS GREAT ... I just don't need that extra "thump" in the bass then. Other these VERY SPECIFIC times and use cases ... this issue i bring up here is AN ADVANTAGE and a REASON to buy this. SO .... I still totally recommend this without a second of hesitation but .... just decided to note this. Even considering the "sound steps" and wanting more control AND then this sound thing in very specific cases .. I HESITATE to call either "an issue"Update: noting that this DOES NOT change my rating .. there is one more con that may only be a con depending on the use case and the device you have it plugged into. The volume steps (the volume level from one "notch to another notch" can jump a bit when i am trying to listen at lower volumes, late at night ... say one level is too low and the next is "too high" for my taste ... I do admit that It's connected to an android TV box AND my DOSS Soundbox Touch and Oontz Angle 3 Ultra have more fine grain controls ... basically with them i set the volume on the box to say 80% or so and then adjust the speaker as needed ... with this speaker, i don't get that much of "fine grain controls" ... but if you not going to be listening at lower volumes (I AM NOT saying you have to listen at full blast EITHER) ... this wouldn't be an issue anyway. Like I said I'd like those fine grain controls of the volume but this "con" doesn't make me want to lower my rating at all.I STILL love this speaker and am shocked that this tiny little speaker can have that much of a CLEAN sound WHILE still having a good "thump" as well----------------------------------------Minor Background: I have a number of Bluetooth headphones (all in the “budget” range I admit) and the same goes for Bluetooth speakers, including a Braven BRV1, an LFS (forgot the model, but it’s a little somewhat “round” speaker that sounds great but it has an electrical buzzing/humm sound … especially annoying and an issue when connected to BT, though not as bad via 3.5mm connection), and two speakers that are new to me (bought around the same time as this Xsound Surf), an Oontz Angle 3 Ultra, and a DOSS Soundbox Touch.I really want to watch how I word this review, due to the fact I feel like I may ham things up and make people expect too much. Spoiler: The reviews saying “if you like this speaker and think it sounds good … try getting another, and using pairing mode” (instead of just the left and right speaker inside the Xsound Surf, you get the same sound (so to speak) but one speaker itself acts as the left side and the other acts as the right side) are TRUE .. .yes I bought another and … really a third for a gift for someone. You can see where this review is going already.Sound Quality: I think the Braven speaker I have sounds good, the LFS sounds great but always having that hum I mentioned in the audio makes it too annoying to use, the DOSS Soundbox Touch sounds great and while it can be “EQ’ed in” … it lacks punchy bass at times .. and to note… sometimes I LIKE that better. The Oontz is hit or miss … sometimes it sounds great and unlike some other speakers I have a sense if I really turned the Oontz up, the issue I am about to mention about the bass would be an ADVANTAGE. The problem with that speaker is that it has too much of a punchy bass at times and when it sounds “off” (not terrible mind-you) that extra punch, muddies up the mids and highs.I say ALL of that to say that while there may be some more expensive speakers that can “fill a room” (say at a party) better … overall … (here’s where I have to watch myself) … well this is so close to being a 5 out of 5 sound wise. I like Tribit products already but this may be my favorite even over my Xfree Tune headphones. There is a punchy bass but it DOESN’T muddy anything up … it’s like the best of the Oontz’s sound and the DOSS’s sound… together. If you didn’t know Tribit and just looked at this speaker, you would not expect the type of sound you get with this to come out of the speaker. I have seen similar looking (probably not as well bit, of course) speakers at say discount department stores that I’d not buy myself but I can predict a thin, “tinny” type sound. This Xsound Surf almost has a small, compact “subwoofer like feel” when that punchy bass hits. I will using a boxing metaphor here .. this speaker may not be able to knock out/win against the tops of the middle/higher end speaker class… but this speaker DOES “punch above it’s weight-class” to me. I cant say that I have turned it up all the way and tested every genre I listen to (and I do basically listen to ALL sorts of genres) but I have not heard anything that sounds bad.The one thing is I like to listen to smooth jazz at night and sometimes that extra punch to the bass can be a tad too much in that SPECIFIC use case, that specific time of day, but I cant say it’s bad, nor that I don’t like it. I know some higher priced speakers may have a “360 sound” and may have better clarity but … this speaker is near perfect in my view, sound wise … I feel hyping this up too much, but I have to be honest.This speaker DOES sound AMAZING and while I only tested it once … it sounds like what you would expect when paired with another Xsound Surf… just all that great sound from a speaker with a L and R speaker inside of it, but each paired speaker acting as a true left and right speaker. I got a good deal (say $10 off each one) but sound quality wise… even without that discount I’d say it’d be worth it.To have a speaker with such a punchy but WELL DONE bass, without it muddying things up like it’s “trying to prove” it has a lot of bass, too much … to have it sound so crisp in the mids and highs, while still having that bass… I REALLY don’t know how they could make it sound better… I mean not counting one of Tribit’s higher end speakers with speaker on two sides of a round speaker to give a room “360” sound.-----This speaker is “heavy” for it’s size, in the sense I can tell it’s made well … not those tech items where you can feel it’s like an empty shell with a small, CHEAP circle board inside.The one thing that worries me (the Oontz is the same way, for the record) is that it’s sort of like that soft-touch coating on the outside and being in a HUMID environment, that sort of coating gets sticky after awhile. A little tip I have had work on some items, if that happens to you … use a littleisopropyl alcohol and rub it over those sticky rubber services on your tech item and that should fix it .. even if you need to do that procedure more than once. I am NOT 100% sure this is that sort of coating but if you get this speaker or have other items (even say tools with those sort of soft-grip rubber handles) … this isopropyl alcohol “fix” worked for me.----Not that it’s a make or break issue to me, this speaker is apparently IPX7 waterproof (from what I have heard/read that means it can say be submerged up to 3 feet, for up to 30 minutes and still be a-ok… that’s something I love having, even though if it DIDN’T have that ability … it’d be no big deal to me.----Cons:The one issue is that unlike some speakers in this range … while reading reviews and specs for others (even ones I don’t have) .. the battery life is not that far off from the others, but this does seem to gobble up the battery fast. I see 5 to 7 hours based on a full charge, and I can not comfirm that yet or even say that I have paid attention to the hours used. The SOUND QUALITY to me makes up for this and I can live with having to charge this up more vs a speaker that may last say 10 hours between charges.My advice to Tribit … sound wise (say if you make an Xsound Surf 2.0 or something) LEAVE IT… it’s great the way it is now.. just put a little bit bigger (capacity) battery in.One more “con” (I say that LOOSELY) is that while the ports are well protected with the covering … the cover may be hard for some people to open. I’d have a small (maybe a little bigger than those in cheap eye-glass repair kits) flathead screw driver to at least MAYBE give yourself a hand in getting the port cover open. Maybe it will be easier the more you open it … I can’t even speaker for that right now, but it’s just something to note.-----------------------The buttons are easy to remember and I can feel around (esp with the “-” for volume down) in the dark and control the speaker no problem at all … even though this is my first speaker with a single play button (vs ones with “back” and “forward” to go between tracks) … a double tap or triple tap of that play button to move between tracks is NO PROBLEM for me. For me, running my hand across the top of the speaker, I can clearly feel the buttons, but at the same time, they don’t overly stick out either.Other then this speaker feeling sturdy where if you lightly bump up against a table with this on it, it will likely NOT go flying like you may think a small, light speaker would…. I am really not sure what else I can say about this speaker, other than I love it and I totally recommend it.If you are unsure, give this a try and I think those with lower expectations may be surprised at the sound quality, alone.

Over all ,it is a good product.

I love this small speaker with decent lasting battery. Sound wise, bass is great. Excellent to use it any where and splash proof. Battery charging using USB C and comes with 3.5mm AUX IN. Highly recommended.

La calidad de sonido , muy práctico para cargar y muy como además de su estética podría mejorar un poco más por ejemplo tener algo de de dónde poder colgarlo o algun otro accesorio para protección de caídas o raspones!
