Auxiliary Mirror

It's a very nice auxiliary mirror and I like it fine. Was a bit awkward to install but not hard, tool furnished inside packaging. Packaged nicely and arrived in great condition. It was smaller than I thought it would be (that's the only reason I did not give it a perfect score; and that was my fault - not the sellers). So be sure and check the details on sizing. I will be ordering more that's for sure as these extremely helpful in exposing blind spots on both sides of vehicle.

Auxiliary mirrors are mostly cheap useless crap. These will actually stay put and have the adjustability and optical quality to do the job that you bought them for.

Does not fit all cars. Only one, not a "set" as other reviewers indicated. I have a Subaru CrossTrek. There is not enough room between the mirror and the frame on the car to install this. I forced it in; the auxiliary mirror is difficult to change viewing angle. Check your mirror frame to make sure there is room for the aux mirror clamp to install to your mirror frame.

The side mirror on my car, which had a wide-view mirror attached to it when I bought it, was recently side-swiped while we were on a trip. I couldn't find a wide-view mirror just like the one I lost, but I had truly loved having one, so I sought one that would do the same thing. This one does the trick. It was easy to install, by myself, and required only a standard screw driver to mount it. I'm an older woman with limited skills in the automotive department. It's easy to adjust and provides an even greater angle of view than my previous mirror did. I've placed it on the top of my driver's side mirror, which is rounded at the top. I may move it to the bottom, which is flatter, so that I can move it further to the outside, since I'm not getting the full benefit of the entire angle in its current position, but, it should be simple enough to move, as well. Since I placed it on the rounded top edge, I placed it at the top center of the side mirror, which means that about a third of this mirror shows the side of my car, but that's because of where I placed it, because of the shape of my side mirror. And I can still see more than I could with the small rectangular mirror I had before, that was glued to the front of the side mirror. Also, this one does not cover any of the side mirror, so I believe that's an advantage, as well. It's larger than I expected, and provides a wider view than I expected. I would definitely recommend to others.

I have had one of these on my driver's side mirror for about a week.It is performing as expectedTo date it remains securely fastened; with no movement whatsoever.The mirror is clear & distortion freeIt stays adjusted; and does not vibrate.Installation was exactly as instructed EXCEPT the stamped steel wrench provided did not fit the heads of the fastening bolts.Possibly a result of the manufacturer outsourcing the bolts & the wrench to different subcontractors.You'll need a 1/4" wrench for the task.Overall quality seems OKI do have some reservations about the quality of the metal clamp & will watch for rusting and corrosionAlso, time will tell about the quality of the mirror .An update will address these things in a few months.For now however; SO FAR SO GOOD10/17/18 UpdateThe mirror is holding up well.It's showing no signs of deterioration from the weather.The device remains solidly attached to the car: and adjustments hold their position without vibration.I have upgraded the rat to 5 satrsThe good results with this mirror have induced me to buy a pair of the larger version for my truck.Review forthcoming

I wasted my money on this. The surface of the mirror is nearly flat, so it doesn't provide proper blind spot coverage. I had to buy the cheezy stick on blind spot mirrors to adhere over these. Plus these won't mount to the curved top of the factory side view mirrors because the mounting hardware is straight. Therefore, I had to mount the new mirrors to the bottom of my side view mirrors which gives you a view of the pavement below (not helpful). Completely disatisfied.

We bought two sets and put one set on a pickup and the other on a Camry. The 2007 Camry has many blinds spots. One-hundred percent blind even when using the factory-built-in Camry mirrors. The way the car is built makes it completely impossible to see other vehicles behind or on the side, even when physically turning to look. With the addition of these convex mirrors, all we have to do now is remember to use the convex mirrors.The mirrors were easy to install. No problems with falling off or getting dirty.Note: I am adding this following info several months after use. The mirrors are still helpful.They stayed in place and we haven't had any problems with them. I highly recommend them.4/25/15: The mirrors are still as good as the first day we installed them. No problems whatsoever. They helped me avoid accidents more than once. I have had people stop at red lights, get out of their cars, tap on my window to ask me where I bought them. I tell them Amazon and they are worth every penny. Don't worry about this being unavailable here because I now see these at local automotive stores. Sometimes cheaper than I paid.

I purchased two mirrors for both sides of the car. The drivers side is very useful and I am pleased with it. The passenger side is useless. It has the same field of view as the OEM mirror. I intend to remove it and transfer it to the driver's side of my other car. A word to the wise on the installation: Obtain a small suction cop to hold the mirror during installation. Try it without and you will see why.
