Filter Wrench
The wrench works perfectly as advertised . It is well made out of metal . Much , much easier to use than my old plastic wrench ! The longer handle applies much more torque to the filter housing loosening it easily .

Works great
Water filters are incredibly hard to replace. The plastic wrench that came with the filter system is not strong enough to loosen the filter without breaking. This wrench is perfect - lightweight and strong. Does the job it is supposed to do.

The perfect solution
Buy this now! For six years I have struggled with the plastic wrench that came with my Aqua-Pure water filtration system. I bought a 30 inch pipe to extend the handle of the plastic wrench so I would have more torque to loosen the filter housing. That broke the handle and messed up my knuckles. Lowe's, Home Depot and Ace Hardware offered nothing but the plastic cheapo junk This solid, metal, long handled wrench made it really easy to unscrew the housing. It is heavy, made in the USA and a thing of beauty.

Works for 10” x 4.5” filter systems
Great wrench! The plastic wrench that came with the ispring 10 x 4.5” makes it very difficult to loosen the casing to change the filters. The wrench is to short and you can’t get enough leverage. This wrench is metal with a long handle. It makes changing the filters easy.

Sturdy wrench for stubborn filters
This product worked to unstick a filter that had been tightened with an extra gasket in it, causing it to get stuck by the time I went to replace the filter. My plastic wrench was going to break if I cranked on it any harder trying to remove it.The handle is also a bit longer than the plastic wrench I have for more leverage and easier turning.I do not think normally a metal wrench should be used tighten as you could easily overdo it, but if something gets overtightened this will break it free.I might suggest people continue to use a plastic wrench to tighten to avoid overdoing it and keep this metal one for easier removal only. If your plastic wrench isn't tightening your filter down enough to seal you should check that you do not have a gasket stuck inside the filter or try adding grease to your o-ring or replace the o-ring. The plastic wrench should be enough to tighten, and if you're breaking it trying to tighten it to avoid a leak you likely have something else going on.Very pricey for what it is, simply a piece of stamped steel with one end dipped in rubber.

Finally, a solid cartridge housing wrench
We have a whole house filter under the kitchen sink for all the kitchen’s cold water usage. It gets replaced every six months, but last month when I wanted to disassemble the housing to replace the filter it wouldn’t budge. The plastic wrench it came with had insufficient leverage and showed every sign it would shatter as it began to bend.My wife wanted to call a plumber, which would have run over $125 for the housecall, and he was only available later in the week. Instead I ordered this wrench which arrived within a day. Within 5 minutes the housing was off. It turns out that the orang had likely shifted during the previous assembly and warped, catching in the threads. The wrench handle provided great leverage and solid purchase. Should have ordered this years ago instead of sweating and fighting the short handled plastic one.

Good metallic wrench
This is the best wrench I used. The longer handle makes it easier to unscrew tightly fit filter casings. The last wrench I had just broke while trying to unscrew a filter casing. I will not have that problem again with this one since it is metallic.
