This duvet cover is extremely soft on both sides. The bottom side is a luxuriously soft velvet, and the top side is a fluffy soft faux fur. Without a duvet insert, it's just a really nice, lightweight but warm blanket. But with a duvet insert, especially a quality down comforter, it's a puffy marshmallow from Heaven. I never want to leave my bed. I bought a 2nd cover in a different color to use as a blanket in the winter for cuddling up with while watching tv. The cover has 8 ties to help keep the insert in place (4 corner and 4 side ties). The zipper is really good quality and has given me no issues. My trick is to put TWO comforters inside this duvet cover. Many recommend ordering one size down on the duvet cover which will make for a more fluffy finished product (insert one size bigger than the cover). I went with the same size because I was worried 2 comforters would not fit if I went down in size. Actually, there was enough room still, so no worries there. The design is just really stylish and the colors are great (though I will say, where is sage and dark brown options??). If they add sage, I will be buying a 3rd one asap! The best thing of all is the price. It's super affirdable and worth well above its price. I got one for $65 and snagged my 2nd one when it was on a great sale for just $39! (Both King size). You won't be disappointed with this cover. Added bonus are the matching pillowcases, which are just the most perfect and I would buy them separate even if they were sold separate.Tips: If you are looking for it to look anything like the pics here, you MUST put an insert inside of it. Without, it is like a large throw blanket. The insert placed inside makes it a game-changer. When it arrives, open it and lay it out flat for 24 hours to help with fluffiness and wrinkles. The pillowcases are standard size for queen and smaller, but for king and up, they are for king size pillows. If you have standard pillows, these cases will be way too big if you order a king. I have both sizes at home and they both fit EXACTLY like a glove. Use the ties if you do put an insert inside. Better yet, reinforce those ties with pins. I used button pins that I had from Amazon and pinned the 2 comforters together, then tied them to the ties inside, then used the same pins to reinforce so both inserts and the cover ties were all pinned together at all 8 points. It makes it easier to put the inserts in and ensures they cannot move around much, if at all. Washes fine, just dry it on low heat. Stands up to washing/drying great.

I really love this bedspread! It's very pretty and so soft. The duvet fits just perfect. The color is very nice as well. I'm so happy I bought this one.

I bought this set for my guestroom which is located in the cold basement! We have a duvet for the summer months, and I needed something much warmer for the Minnesota winters! This was perfect. The first thing I not noticed when it arrived was that it did not have a gross, chemical smell. It washed really well and did not shed much. The color was exactly as pictured (grey) and fit my queen size duvet insert perfectly. The shams were a little large for my pillows. I am not sure if that's because I have small pillows or because the shams are big. But it's not that big of a deal. My in laws slept in the bed with the new set and said it kept them toasty warm. Now my daughter wants one for her room! This set is a great value.

Pros- good price, very warm, fluffy & soft. If you enjoy a cozy bed - this is it! Didn't shed lint like I expected. If you have cats that tend to snag your bedding - this is a great option (one reason for my purchase). Has inside corner ties & along the long edge/ centers. Nice zip enclosure.Cons- it's not as large as my other queen duvets & so doesn't hang over enough to cover the mattress. I feel it's shorter than it should be. My hugest complaint is the color is not white - it's very creamy/ ivory with alot of yellow undertones. Pictures added against a true white pillow.If it where white & larger - I would give this 5 stars. I would suggest buying the King for a queen bed if you prefer a full look.

My sister ordered this in light grey for her guest bedroom and I liked it so much that I ordered a beige one for my bed at home. These wash and dry beautifully and leave almost no lint in the dryer lint trap which is surprising considering the plushness. In the summer I don't use an insert and the weight of the duvet is perfect alone. In the winter I either use a silk or down comforter depending on weather and temps. I really can't say enough good things about this. It truly is a gem!

I bought this to use on my weighted blanket that I have as a duvet/comforter. I was looking for a white fur duvet cover to replace the comforter I used to use with my winter sheets. This has a beautiful pattern and soft feel. Easy to wash in a machine before using and warm when paired with my winter sheets.It perfectly fit my weighted blanket and with the 4 corner ties and bottom zip made washing and changing easy. Seems good quality so far and a good thickness for my blanket.

This duvet cover is beautiful very well-made. Made for a very cosy and comfortable sleep. I have a down duvet inside. I do like the room to be very cold when I sleep. Used for the first time last night kept my window open and I was exceptionally cozy. I think in the spring and summer I will use it alone as just a bed cover without the duvet inside. Highly recommend.

Very soft and comfortable I love the texture, especially the way it touches your skin. I can sleep very well in the wintertime. I just wish the fittings were perfect but I don't know why the king comforter did not fit perfectly in the duvet. I hate the the extra that floats on the side.
