Just the right stretchiness for people with puffy ankles
I have bought about 10 pairs of these over the past few years after noticing that my ankles got puffy with prolonged sitting. I first tried expensive medical socks from Therawear, but one pair they shipped to me smelled moldy so I had to throw them away, and the other ones were too tight and thick to wear comfortably. I saw the Miracle Socks in my grocery store, and bought a pair because it couldn't do any harm for the low price. It was a nice surprise to find out that the degree of stretchiness of these socks was just what I needed. Also, they are thin enough that you can wear them comfortably with dress shoes.I now wear Miracle Socks most days, and the ankle and foot puffiness has gone way. The wash very well and hold up well after repeated machine drying cycles. They are not strong enough for people with medical conditions who need prescription hose, but for normal sedentary people who are trying to control puffiness, they work great.

A GOOD BUY FOR A GOOD PRICE
i HAVE A SMALL (SIZE8) SHOE AND AM SHORT AND HAVE HAD DIFFICULTY FINDING SOCKS THAT FIT MY FEET WELL AND ARE REASONABLY THE RIGHT LENGTH. THESE COME JUST BELOW MY KNEES AND THE MILD COMPRESSION MEETS MY NEEDS WELL. THEY SEEM EASIER TO GET ON AND OFF EASIER THAN SOME OTHERS I HAVE TRIED. A GOOD CHOICE FOR THE PRICE.

Very comfortable
I just got a second pair of these, and feel I cannot live without them! I have been having cramps in one leg, and some numbness in that same foot for many years now. I suspect its from nerve damage from a prior accident when I broke vertebrae in my lower back. Even going to a chiropractor did not ease the feelings and tinglings in the leg and at night the pain would cause many sleepless nights. I decided to try these and to even sleep with them, and can happily report that these scks are indeed like a miracle! They are thin enough to not be annoying, they do not roll down (I am 5'11") and because they are black, no one knows I am wearing them. They seem to be very sturdy and have not stretched out due to frequent washing. I intend to purchase several more pair and am sending a pair to my daughter, who is a professional photographer and on her feet for long periods of time, plus a pair to my mom who has trouble walking from a prior injury to her ankle. I think these socks are amazing.

Not a 100% miracle
Let me start by saying that I really had high hopes for these socks. I wear a size 7 &1/2 regular (not wide) ladies shoe, so I bought the sm/med socks. Now the socks are really hard to get on in the first place, but with following the directions you will be able to get them on. Once on, the socks went up almost all the way to my knees. At first i didnt feel anything unusal except slight pressure near my knees where the sock stops. However after wearing them all day at my job as a pharmacy tech. for 8 hours there are some things you should know:1) these socks are made of 92% nylon and 8% Lycra (and a unisex sock) and even though it is a solid material it feels like they may snag if you wear shoes that aren't completely smooth on the inside. Tennis shoes are the worst for snagging dress socks, so I wore ankle socks over my miracle socks to prevent snagging.2) after wearing for about 20 minutes at work my LEGS felt much better but my feet were starting to tingle probably from the circulation the socks were causing. So I did an experiment and took one sock off and compared the two and the result was: the LEG WITH the miracle sock felt good but my FOOT was going numb and the LEG WITHOUT the miracle sock felt like crap all over. My leg was aching, my foot was hurting and so it stands to reason that the miracle socks DO help with aching legs but now the feet are the problem. Just a note; the shoes I was wearing during that experiment were sketchers sport tennis shoes. I have since then switched to crocs.I do wear crocs (mercy clog) to work now which are the best shoe I've worn yet to work (see seperate review on those). So I am wearing a good shoe to work and have ruled out the shoe as a problem. I did try the miracle socks one more time after buying the work crocs and had the same issue so i know its the socks and not the shoes. I have not worn my miracle socks since the first week I bought them, because even though my legs felt great I couldn't take my feet going numb. Now I did think that maybe a bigger size sock would be better, but the only other size sock Available wasn't in my shoe size range. The box states sm/med for women's shoe size 6-9.5 // men 5-9.5 and large/extra large are for women shoe size 10-13.5 // men 10-12.5 so as you see one size larger for me would be WAY to big.I wish they had worked for me but my new crocs seem to be helping tremendously. In fact if I had bought the crocs first I probably wouldn't have tried these socks because they are pricey and for me it was a waste of money. A good shoe is always a great start for better comfort but I still believe compression socks are a great thing to wear but not if your uncomfortable. These socks could be miracle socks but just not for everyone. Thank you for reading and I hope this helped. Have a great and COMFORTABLE day.Update: As of 12-14-13 I have noticed that there are several people that didn't find this review as helpful as could have been, I would appreciate any feed back on what is missing that would have been something that should have been mentioned. Great price fora ggreat product
Great price can fit anyone. They give great compression that soothes achy feet or legs that doesn't squeeze so hard thatit hhurts like some hosiery does. It would fit a lot of different people. It is great for trouser socks too. Thick enough to give sturdy support but still looks good is breathable and fits well with shoes or dress boots

Good price
Needed after surgery. Worked great. Easy on and off. After wearing all day I did not have a mark on my leg from them being too tight.

Helps with relieving tiredness in the calf.
Helps with "tiredness" in the calf. Size runs a little big. I bought a pair for each of my 3 sisters as well as my mom. They all like them, not necessary for look, but for function.

Work as promised, very comfortable, high quality compression socks
I had foot surgery almost a month ago, and at the end of everyday my feet are still incredibly swollen. That is until I bought these socks. Sure, there's nothing sexy about compression socks, but since I started wearing them my swelling has gone down, and its amazing! Definitely recommend these socks although they took a really long time to come. I waited several weeks for them to arrive.
