Q: Do the lids seal tightly? I'm looking for pots that will not let the water out when I'm cooking rice

I would say a "good" fit, but not like you could turn them upside-down. Also, the lids in the set I purchased are equipped with a small circular steam escape opening. Don't know if that helps, but so far I've not had any problems with that issue.

Q: Our induction cook top requires some ferrous metal on bottom to work. Does this have a special coating to allow for induction cook top use?

Nope. It's aluminum, not a ferromagnetic material.

Q: Can you use these pans on gas stoves and electric??

Is this a serious question???? These are pots!!!! Since when did pots work for one set of stoves and not the other???? Really???? All pots work on both unless explicitly stated. Smh.
