Great suitcase
We purchased two of these for a trip to Europe, where we would be on a smaller airline that required a smaller size. We rolled these all our Spain on cobblestone streets. These held up well and should work great for a long time to come! We like to take just a carry-on when we travel overseas.

Only used once and already missing a part
I absolutely love Dakine products; however, I used this suitcase for ONE trip and I was just packing to head home from my trip, I noticed that one of the balancing feet on the bag is already missing. :( This is really frustrating, especially since my return window closed yesterday.

Handle holds open to one length only
After looking for a bag that met a list of criteria I was seeking, I was glad to have found the Dakine bag. Upon receiving it, one issue glaringly stood out - the handle "locks" open at it's full length only, i.e. I am 5' 3" and the handle reached my armpit. The bag is ideal for taller folks. The return required us to take the bag to UPS and the shipping cost was not refunded. In my judgement, the seller should have disclosed the handle limitation.

Dakine luggage rules
It’s the only luggage we buy now and this was a gift for our oldest son! Some of our pieces we have had for years and they are still in perfect condition and we travel a LOT! So worth the price!

Nice but less flexible than its predecessor
The previous bags or more flexible and had to Maine pockets now it’s just one make it a little bit less user friendly
