After 1 year, still works, no problems
UPDATE 2: Have had this charger for a year now and still no problems. The wire from the power adapter (block) to the laptop is small gauge wire and the original charger had a short in that wire, so with this one I've been careful not to get it twisted or pick it up by that wire.UPDATED 8/25/22: After almost 2 months of use, this charger has worked flawlessly. No problems yet. 4 months seems to be a common time frame for failure in many reviews, so I'll return with another update after that point.ORIGINAL review: The original AC charger to my Acer Aspire E5 had a short in it. The laptop kept losing AC power so I'd have to wiggle the wire in different places to get it back. At times, when a task was drawing more power, it'd cut out then as well.I was hesitant to buy an off-brand, generic replacement charger since so many reviews mentioned they don't last long. There are some Acer branded chargers on eBay, but those would've taken longer to ship and I wanted it faster. They were also a bit more expensive at $25-$30. I went with this Delta Electronics charger in hopes that it will last longer than the no-names that literally just say "replacement" on them.Given that the charging port is on the side of the laptop, I specifically chose one with the right-angle connector on it. My old laptop charged from the side and having the wire stick straight out was a nuisance. So far, after several hours of use, it's performing as it should, no power loss. If you're interested, it does have the LED light on the power brick to indicate the charger is getting power, but I don't care about that. Unfortunately, these models of Acer laptops take AC chargers with very light-gauged wire, which is probably why my original charger ended up shorting out. Somewhere along the wire, it was starting to break. That's why I rated this charger's "Durability" as 3 stars.

As advertised - Compatible with Acer Laptop
Charger looks similar to original that was lost.Charger get hot when charging dead battery but gets back to warm to cool under normal use - as expected. Can’t speak to durability as only had for couple days but as it works out of the box- looks promising and I hope to get many yes of good use.Packaging was marked “new” - unclear if this means they could mark “used/refurbished” for a charger that was returned from another buyer.Brand is Delta Electronics and made in Taiwan

Great replacement cord. Fits and works perfectly.
My cord was damaged last summer. I got a generic cord with 7-8 "heads" - none of which fit. This cord made for this model laptop.

After a year of use...
The cord that I bought is still working, but I think it may be beginning to have problems. It's getting power to the box but not the box to the computer or something.it's reading it just enough to power the computer but not charge the battery. At this moment it is reading it perfectly. (like when you go to the dr when you sick and by the time you get in to see him you start to feel better :) go fig.) Though for some time I have been worried my port may be loose so it may not be the cord at all.
