Third child to have wisdom teeth extracted. Wish I had this with the other two. This has worked like a charm. The gel packs are great. They did thaw pretty quickly but nice to have have two sets to rotate. We also froze sponges placed in sandwich bag and inserted them in this too while gel packs refroze. This is a must need for oral surgery.

This is a quality product that became very helpful after dental surgery. I love the fact that you don’t have to hold an ice pack to you face with your hand but can just wrap this around your head and it stays there for as long as you need it. it comes with 4 ice packs, so you keep one pair in the freezer while you use the other. The packs are mouldable even when frozen so you can model them around your face contour. The Velcro closing adjust to the size of your head. I have not tried them as hot packs yet but they can be used like that as well.

I think this item truly helped my son recover from his wisdom teeth removal. He didn't have to worry about holding ice packs in place and was able to rest or watch TV, etc. The 2 sets of ice packs were very helpful as we were able to keep one set in the freezer while he used the other set for 20 minutes on/20 minutes off on his first day post-op. In addition the packs remained pliable so they were more comfortable and were able to mold around the face.

Having had major jaw issues for years I’ve tired many ice packs. This is the best one without a doubt. It’s comfortable. Love that it comes with four inserts. I also love that it can be heated or chilled. It has lasted over four years with two major jaw surgeries, and a teen teenager, getting their wisdom teeth out.

Initially purchased for our son’s wisdom tooth surgery and it was perfect! I actually bought two different brands and the other didn’t even compare to the quality of this one. I recently had a cosmetic procedure and used this for swelling and it worked beautifully! It’s soft, the perfect adjustable size, reduced swelling and pain! The only weird thing was after I ordered this one and the other set, I got a pack of mystery seeds from China, which I didn’t open and contacted our state department of agriculture. If this happens to you, do not open or plant the seeds as it could be an invasive plant.
