As advertised. They aren’t super thick but they can be stacked which is what I learned from another review on here

Protects your paint
Perfect for people who care a lot about their car. It protects your paint from getting all scratched up by your plate. It also helps with rattling noice that your plate may cause. The adhesive is also super good.

ought to do the job
I HAD to get rid of the tacky license plate frame that came from the dealer, but didn't want another frame. This pad adheres to the back of my license plate and will protect the paint on my brand-new car.

I would recommend this to anybody trying to stop your license plating from rattling or scratching your vehicle paint.

Completely happy.
Mounted it to the back of the cx-30 rear plate. Curved the plate slightly so it would push into the car and not move when tightened. This keeps the metal plate from touching your paint and keeps it from rattling or clanking when closing the trunk. All this would be unnecessary if car companies would have four hole attachment points instead of two. Will see how it holds up over time but I’m completely happy. Didn’t need one on the front plate so now I have a spare for the next new car. Should be cheaper but whatever. Thanks again.
