Great braking and traction, terrible handling.
Had these for a few thousand miles and while their braking under both wet and dry conditions is simply outstanding, like running into a wall in the dry and their traction in both wet and dry is superb if in a straight line there are big problems. These tyres have unusually soft sidewalls which results in poor handling. Turn in is very vague compared to other tyres and at high speed car feels unusually twitchy. Further if forced to corner hard by circumstance tyres feel unsafe and that's in the dry as for the wet take care. Great braking and traction, everything elese worst tyres I've ever had.

Lieferung und Zustand Die Lieferung erfolgte innerhalb eines Tages über DPD. Die Reifen kamen in zwei separaten Paketen, jeweils foliert. Der Versand verlief reibungslos. Die Ware war einwandfrei und fabrikneu. Fahreindruck und Leistung Ich fahre die Michelin CROSSCLIMATE 2 seit über einem Jahr auf meinem Audi A3 und bin sehr zufrieden. - Geringe Laufgeräusche - Sehr guter Grip auf trockener Fahrbahn - Hervorragende Haftung auf nasser und beschneiter Straße Zuvor waren Michelin-Sommerreifen montiert. Diese boten zwar Vorteile auf trockener Fahrbahn, zeigten jedoch Schwächen bei Nässe. Aus diesem Grund fiel die bewusste Entscheidung für Allwetterreifen. Zweiter Reifensatz Aufgrund der positiven Erfahrungen wurde ein weiterer Satz für den Seat Ibiza meiner Frau gekauft. Damit wurden die ab Werk montierten schwachen Goodyear-Sommerreifen ersetzt. Fazit Der Michelin CROSSCLIMATE 2 überzeugt durch hohe Alltagstauglichkeit, sehr gute Fahrsicherheit bei unterschiedlichen Witterungsbedingungen und angenehmen Fahrkomfort. Eine klare Empfehlung für Fahrer, die einen leistungsstarken und zuverlässigen Allwetterreifen suchen.
