Q: Would this set be suitable for a 9 yr old girl?

I purchased for 7 and 8 year old. While they did use them, the tools were too short fir them. My grandson is tall for his Ge but granddaughter normal for 7 v Year old. If pushed too hard the shovel beny. They played with fir a few weeks.
