Way too expensive to be filled with worthless cracked corn
This would probably be a good blend for hanging feeders except that it has a high percentage of cracked corn. Corn, like milo or red millet, is cattle/livestock feed and does not belong in a songbird mix. In this mix the corn content appears secondary only to the white millet, which finches, juncos, etc love.As you can see in the image, once the tray is picked over all that's left is some sunflower seed shells, safflower shells, and a bit of millet and empty millet husks - and a pile of useless corn.I have over a dozen species that come to my feeders regularly, and NONE of them eat corn. Maybe if I wanted to draw cowbirds, crows, or blackbirds it would work, but I don't, nor do most folks that feed songbirds. If you have ducks, geese, chickens, or maybe pigeons that come to your feeders then perhaps corn is appropriate, otherwise it is just an inexpensive filler that the manufacturer uses to add weight/volume on the cheap. This seed is too expensive for that.Otherwise, the songbirds love the white millet, the varieties of sunflower seed, peanuts, and the safflower seed, but the corn they just kick out on the ground. I will say that the bushy-tailed tree rats (aka, squirrels), chipmunks, mice, and voles seem to love it once the birds toss it out, so if you have rodent feeders then by all means this is your seed!

No waste
I bought this because it does not have the red seed in other mixes that the wild birds won't eat. It costs a bit more, but they eat ALL of it. What I use to save on cost for other mixes was offset by all the waste. I will buy this again.

It's Bird Food at a good price.
It's a great product, and it's in a thick bag that doesn't need to be shipped in a box. The box always gets destroyed by the weight of the Bird Food. The Food is enjoyed by all our local Birds. We have multiple Quail families, Doves, Sparrows, etc. Thanks

Birds favorite
I have purchased many brands of wild bird seed in my days, but the backyard birds and other wildlife just cant get enough of this seed,it has a great assortment of seeds and crushed nuts, that they just love, now they are spoiled and kind of reject any other brand, cost is a little more but if you love your backyard friends as I do it's well worth the price

Feeding our feathered friends
Yes, it was a very large bag. Filled both feeders, but due to the excessive heat here in the west coast notas many birds at the feeders. But not giving up, both feeders are going down ever so slowly. Should lastfor a few months.

The Birds Love This
I don't know a lot about birds but when I fill my feeders there is instant action. My cats sit in our screened-in porch and watch the activiey all day long. The squirrels seem to like it too!
