ReebokWomen's Hayasu Training Shoe

Reebok's BEST yet!
The Hayasu is without a doubt my FAVOURITE shoe from Reebok, thus far. Before, I was very particular to the Combat trainer or RealFlex (before they quit making them the same), but once I put these bad boys on I was in LOVE! I think the best part is the fact that they are honestly an all-over shoe. I wear them on days that I teach multiple studio classes in a row and they fit for all needs. They work for weight-lifting, cardio, dance -- EVERYTHING! And on "off" days? They're the perfect shoe just to walk around in as well, comfy and stylish.Sizing-wise, I normally wear from an 8.5 to a 9 in women's sneaks and this shoe is a great fit sticking with the 8.5. There is great side-wall stability and ankle support and the turn style on the bottom helps for quick movements yet the bottom of the shoe sticks when you need it to stick. It's a pretty revolutionary shoe - I'd advice anyone and everyone to pick up a pair, whether you're looking for an updated athletic shoe or just a great everyday shoe.

These shoes look and feel great!
Omg, I found my new favorite dance sneakers! I teach Bollywood dance fitness 3 times a week and have been using Ryka dance sneakers for the past several years. Ryka’s are great and comfy, but these Reebok’s are comfy, supportive for all the movements in dance, and also look good!!! Rykas somehow just don’t looks as stylish. These Reebok Hayasus look hot! They give good sole support for jumping around. Good ankle support. Just enough grip so they are not slippery on hardwood floors. And they have a pivot point for turns and twists. I’m so glad I took a chance on these after being loyal to Ryka for so long. The only negative is the shoelaces seem to unravel easily, but double knotting them should do the trick. They run slightly big so get half size down.

Great looking walking, not dancing shoe
The sneaker is unique, has a GREAT look and is very comfortable to wear, albeit I have to get used to the fit around my ankle. I bought the shoe specifically for my "dance" exercise and have stumbled a few times during UJAM and Zumba when we're doing quick footwork which is a bit unnerving. I've been wearing the shoes for a few weeks now and I still dance rather clumsily in them; they don't slide on the floor, they stick. Not good. I also have to use a foot horn to get into the shoe. I've never had to do that before. Once in, however, my feet are fine. I went hiking around the lake with them and really comfy. So, for dance, mmmmjury still out. For walking, hiking, looks, excellent.

They do not glide at all on a floor that is not super clean and smooth
Got these for partner dancing. They do not glide at all on a floor that is not super clean and smooth, but find one that is and you are good to go. Unexpected: the pivot point is not the part that glides. It's the part that gives you traction. I don't like this, but I guess I can see the benefit of that. These are super comfy! The comfiest shoe I've had since... I can't remember when. Probably a very long time. I also like how thick and wide the bottom is, giving an unusual sense of stability, which makes them great for a athletic dance positions / dips, etc. They also look stylish, I got a couple compliments on them my first time out dancing. My previous shoes, while not dance specific, look similar to these in style and color.... never got compliments. A lot of people have shoes in this color, athletic looking... including in the dance world. So the color doesn't necessarily stand out even though it looks really cool and is really popular... but something about these makes them stand out somewhat anyway. These probably have a little less softness to the insole than my similar-looking shoe, but that's okay. I just got memory-foam, slip-in soles so I can use those for the long dance weekend coming up.

Dreamy!!!
I just got these on time and wore them for a long work shift. They were so amazingly comfortable. I was shocked... I will definitely be buying these in other colors. Fit is perfect, slightly large but so comfortable. I even wore yoga toe socks in them to see if I could without feeling snug. My toes felt great. I broke a toe a while back and have problems with hard tight shoes, so these were a dream. They look better in person. UPDATED REVIEW: I did an intense cardio workout and lifted in these shoes. They felt like a second skin. Not as much support as my sculpted new balances or brooks, BUT I think those shoes are starting to hurt my arches. THESE are my new favorite shoes. I was going to get Nikes that looked similar but cost much more... these Reeboks are actually more attractive and a better value.

So far so good!
I recently started a pretty serious weight loss journey, where a good portion of what I was doing was exercise. I’ve always been a dance person so I’ve been doing the beachbody Country Heat program most days, and supplementing with 2 Zumba-type classes each week. Part of the problem is, I’ve always had relatively weak ankles and carrying around a lot of extra weight has only exacerbated the problem while doing this kind of exercise. Since I was sick of my constantly sore Achilles’ tendons, I thought I should get myself some shoes that provide a little bit of ankle support and these shoes were the highest rated dance fitness shoes with a “high top” I could find. I really really like them. While they don’t give a huge amount of support for my ankle, I do feel a difference during a workout. Also, they are super lightweight which is great when I’m kicking around. And lastly, they are cute as can be and so easy to slip on. I love that there isn’t a tongue I have to worry about being misaligned.
