In my opinion, this is best suited for tea and not for other culinary uses, because it contains a lot of hard stems.You can crush it in your hand to pick out the sticks so that you can use the crushed leaves in poultry stuffing or as part of a rub.As you can see, there are both green leaves and brown leaves. I suspect that is because of the air drying that means they are not uniformly dehydrated. Or perhaps some less than perfect leaves got in there. At this low price point, it's not a big issue.Actually, this is a fantastic value for organic Greek sage. Some of the finest Mediterranean herbs are grown in Greece. At the time of this writing, this bag is about $10.

This wonderful organic, natural, Greek oregano is perfect.Very fresh, full aroma, very rich flavors.Although this is marketed as a tea, because the leaves are whole and not packed in individual tea bags, it's just as good for culinary purposes as it is for tea. One can use the leaves as the are or break them up with your hands, a pestle or even a mechanical grinder.Very reasonably priced for a good quantity and packed in a space-saving resealable bag.We really like this oregano and highly recommend it.

I use a lot of sage in cooking and baking and this is an excellent addition to herbal and fruit teas.The loose leaves are very fresh and pungent.The flavor in baked goods is such that I need used only half the amount I usually do.I prefer organic ingredients and this is sourced from Greece and the quality is superior.

There are so many varieties of sage and many that are not my favorite but this variety is one of the best! It has a delicious fragrance and flavor. It is fresh. It arrives safety-sealed in a super resealable large bag. I just added sweetener to it and it is amazing! We love that it is organic, too.

I steep this 3 to 4 minutes in boiling water and then add a little blueberry honey. I really like the flavor and enjoy it as my nighttime relaxing drink. The reseable bag is easy to use and keeps it fresh.
