Your phone will stand a better chance without this case.
The Case has fallen apart after only 2 months of use. I always use otterbox cases for my phones as far back as iPhone 4 to samsung S8 and always had high praise for otterbox.... however this case is garbage. The design and material turns it into what I can only describe as a jumping bean and slides out of the hand very easily. Once it hits the deck the poor quality plastic shatters with the slightest amount of stress (whilst also damaging the phone). Otterbox are known for thier ruggidness however this model has been made cheap, some sort of poly-papermache/glass plastic.

Disappointing, no..... VERY Disappointing
Had the case on my S10 now for about 10months, great protection, however the edge plastic that grips the phone, has started to break, without any dropping or rough treatment, the plastic that holds the phone at the corners is cracked & broken to two opposing corners. Still holds the phone OK, but I now need to watch it, as eventually it will fail. Had a similar issue on a similar cover for a tablet, the plastic is brittle?? A bit disappointed really.. Other than that, sturdily built, and gives confidence that if it were dropped, it would be in good hands so to speak. Shame also that the magnetic catch does not wake the phone...You cannot return it for a replacement on Otterboxs guarantee, as they wont accept it, neither will Amazon at this time point, so all in all Very Disappointed & let down by a worthless guarantee, and judging by the repeated issue on other reviews a know fault with the plastic crumbling.

I just don't trust it
1 star is being generous, but it does allow wireless charging which I needed. I wanted a decent quality, no frills, no gimmicks folio case that could hold my Oyster (travel) card when I changed phone and this one looked the part - as another reviewer said, there isn't an Oxford from Gear4 for the S21.This case is frankly inadequate. The magnetic closure is so pathetically weak that I fear that if I drop it, it will open and expose the screen to damage. And that's without a card in the slot: with a card in, the front flap is held open by a millimetre or so and the magnetic catch is almost non-existent. And the card rubs on the screen so I expect that will damage it further. I will continue to use it (without card) until I find a replacement, then it will hit the landfill. I wonder how much landfill is occupied by products like this that are just not good enough to use...

Case too thick - prevents wireless charging
I've got 2 iPhone 11 pro's and use three different wireless chargers. The other case I use is also Otterbox but the more expensive Strada Folio case. That one works fine. This Strada Via case is too thick and prevents the wireless charging from working properly (tried on all three chargers). If you spend ages making tiny adjustments to the position of the phone on the charger you can occasionally get it to work. The Strada Via holds the phone about 3mm further away from the charger than the Strada Folio. This is clearly a design fault in the Strada Via case. The user should be able to simply put the phone down on the charger and it works without having to perform micro adjustments to the position. I've been using Otterbox cases for years and this is the first time it hasn't gone well. Returned to Amazon for full refund.

Very robust case with space for a few bank notes or a card
Beware that credit cards can scuff the face of your phone, make sure you leave softer items like bank notes are closest to the screen. The Samsung S20 has a manufacturer-shipped "screen protector" which has got marked by a bank card.My previous Samsung didn't have this "screen protector" and didn't get scratched with a previous OtterBox even after several years of use: so I think this is really a Samsung issue, not an OtterBox one.
