Doctor Who: Monsters Gift Set

The title says it all, but to elaborate, I am extremely happy with this. What more do I need to say than that you get 21, yes TWENTY-ONE, episodes in all, 10 classic and 11 modern, and a sonic screwdriver. The discs were in perfect condition, as was the screwdriver, though the outer box was damaged. The screwdriver has the 50th anniversary sound chip, meaning it has 4 sound effects, 2 modern and 2 classic, that play one after another. I do wish the classic sounds were more like the hidden sounds of the 11th’s screwdriver, but it’s fine either way. Came with two interchangeable end pieces, one a ballpoint pen and the other a UV pen. Both still worked, much to my surprise, as did the batteries in it, though they were starting to leak. There are 4 discs in all, each featuring a handful of the included episodes.But to summarize, excellent. The price for what you get is second to none, and I couldn’t be happier.

It comes with 2 dvds and a sonic screwdriver. The screwdriver is also a magic pen. One end writes an invisible message and then the light from the screwdriver shows the message. It's like it's really real!!

Verry excited to add this screwdriver to my colection, for a heck of a lot less then the going price for just the sonic. And the colection of monster specific episodes is a nice adition as well. 1 story ark from each of the new docs for bolth relitive monsters, "bounus episodes" from the clasic series (again, 1 ark per relitive monster)Was a litle disipointed that its only doc 4 from the clasics for bolth sets, but thats not Sellers fault, so i cant realy hold that against a good seller rating.Paciging was a little under par, as my box was severly dented in one corner. As a colector, normaly that would have been real bad, but as the didscs were just bounus to my purchas, i wont hold that against them ither. All in all, im Very pleased with this purchas. I recieved what i ordered, for a resonable price, and it arived quickly... What more could you ask for?

Honestly I bought this for the sonic screwdriver, the one I own has had broken hardware for years and trying to buy a new Eccleston/Tennant Era is almost impossible because of how expensive they are! When I bought my original one years ago it was only about 10-15 dollars, now they go for almost 100! So when I saw this set I just couldn't believe it, you're basically paying the original price of the sonic plus 2 awesome dvds that come with top tier episodes (3 different doctors as well!)This set is well worth it. Absolutely. Get it before it's too late and the price raises to something absurd (my guess is this set will be at minimum 60 bucks in the future)

Videos are DVD and come with 4th Doctor 6-part episode Genesis of the Daleks, as well as Doctors 9-12, and 5th Doctor 4-part episode Origin of the Cybermen, as well as Doctors 10-12 episodes, plus bonus videos.Get it for the films, get a free sonic. Get it for the sonic, get free films. Your choice.

I bought this mainly for my Halloween costume and it wasn’t $150+ unlike other models I have seen. The DVDS are nice too! The only caveat is that the sonic screwdriver is a bit flimsy (it’s also a pen) and the battery died in it so it doesn’t light up or make noises. I will have to replace said batteries.

Like many others in the reviews, I bought this just for the prop. I needed something for my cosplay that wasn't $80 to $200 like I saw on Etsy and on here.The toy is also a pen and comes with ink and UV light reactive ink! I don't use it as a pen but that is really cool.It comes with four different sounds, extends and has an LED light. I do wish the light was brighter but it is an old toy.I did not open the DVDs or try them out, I don't need them. But I'm sure they are fine!

I got more episodes of Doctor Who that I didn't have and some older episodes that I didn't have. Plus the history of the Cybermen and Daleks I one package. Also I now have a Sonic screwdriver that is like the one David Tennent uses.

For the money it's great value, DVDs and sonic screwdriver all together. Very happy

This is an excellent box set, the dvd's are fine but the fact it comes with the 10th doctors Sonic screwdriver is what makes it awesome, ive looked for one and they are hard to find and expensive so to get one for under 30 bucks is great and bonus you get 2 dvd's and a Dalek Sticker which is cool and worth 5-10 bucks itself, the sonic extends and plays 4 different sonic sounds, the light is more of a purple for the invisible pen (which is the bottom tip of the sonic and is removable with a 2nd pen as spare) but purple is fine it kinda looks trippy, this is definitely a 5+star purchase.
