Wrong color
The lamp is great, but we ordered the yellow and got red and my kid is not a fan of the red light it gives off.

A great little lamp
Love this lamp, I have two of them, the older red one (30 years) has a base and rod to make it look like it is in flight. However on this lamp I used gorilla glue to keep the metal top falling off so it stays in place. (some buyers were miffed about this solvable problem)You can use clear or coloured 25 or 15 watt bulbs, the smaller sized Christmas outdoor screw in type bulbs work perfectly.

love the lamp
Is quite bright, even with night light bulbs. Still, love the lamp. Hard to find red lamps for night lights, which is better than using white light.

A very nice side table lamp for my son
A very nice side table lamp for my son. The top piece simply sits on the lamp. I wish it was secured to the lamp somehow.
