Heavy material and silicone. Does its job well.

This insulates heat very well, and is less than 1/2 the price of the well-known OXO brand. (I have a pair of those that needs to be replaced. Those are great too.)The small quirk about these mitts is that here is about a 2.5-in stitch along the middle of the mitt - I suppose for the purpose of keeping the fingers apart, like what keeps toes separated in a Japanese pair of socks.) This "feature" is not very visible in the product pictures unless you look for it carefully, which one won't have a reason to. I find this placement of the stitched down separation a bit odd, and impedes a secure grip. I took out those stitches. However, in doing so, I have to stitch down the continuation of those stitches so that it doesn't run, and undo the entire perimeter of the mitt. I didn't read about anyone minding this stitched down "feature", but I don't like it.

They work great and hold up well

Thick and good quality. Hard to use as oven mitts.

Love these, they work well and I 100% buying a dark color rather than light so when they inevitably get spills and stains on them it doesn’t show up as much.

Well made pot holders. The blue ones are very pretty.
