I was looking at cheaper ottomans but decided this might be worth the extra money. I was right. This is actually a much better crafted piece than I had expected. Not that I expected cheapo quality but its quite sturdy and looks fantastic. The lid has hinges which prevent it from closing which is a nice bonus. Roomy inside to store blankets/pillows, AV gear, whatever. The top is firm but comfy and absolutely not a problem to sit on. The only assembly required are the legs which must be screwed to the bottom. Comes with the hardware and an Allen wrench, took me 6 minutes. Overall it looks much more expensive than it is and really adds a nice elegant touch to the room Ina addition to some extra storage. Heavily recommend.

Perfect! Sturdy. Easy to assemble (just screw on the feet). Feels sturdy, looks durable albeit kinda plain looking. I have it in my bedroom at the front of the bed. I love that I can store items in it. Otherwise it's pretty plain. For the price though, it's a steal. Not sure if it's real leather or not but it sure looks and feels like it. Also has a strong feel to it. Not like you could take your finger nail and scratch away at it.

I have two small dogs that are 11 years old and finding it hard to jump up onto the bed so I purchased this to place at the end of the bed to make it an easier, two-jump process for them.The Ottoman came mostly assembled with only the legs needing to be attached once it arrived. All tools to install the legs were included in the box. It took no more than 5 minutes to have it unboxed, the legs installed and put in place.Overall, it looks nice, especially for the price. The legs are plastic but are textured like stained wood and look pretty good. While you can tell it is bonded leather, it appears to be of good quality and the stitching on the sides and on the tufted top is straight and the tufting is even across the entire top. In the two weeks since I received it, the leather has held up well to the dogs jumping on and off it hundreds of times. There are no scratch marks. Having had real leather furniture, this is where the bonded usually impresses. It does not look as good, but it holds up better.It also has a pretty good amount for storage in the ottoman itself. I use it for the bed sheets and it holds the 4 sets of King Sheets that I have with space to spare.The only issue with it, as others have mentioned, is that the buttons pop off. My first popped off the first night. They cannot be popped back on, at least mine can't. You will have to use hot glue or something else to reattach them.If you are looking for a good ottoman for the price and don't mind the fact that you'll have to make some home-improvements to the buttons, you'll be happy with this one.

I am happy to write a review for this item. I am not an expert to describe the quality or nature of the leather. To my knowledge it is very good looking bench and perfectly fits in my environment. It is great item for the value you would like to invest. M<y personal recommendation is 5 stars. It came very well packed and it takes a few minutes to be assembly. I hope all will enjoy with it and I highly recommend it.

Love this chest. It has plenty of storage for blankets, comforters etc. It is comfortable to sit on and looks very pretty and durable. I have large dogs that jump on it. Not a scratch.

I have had this ottoman for 10 months and the leather buttons on top keep popping off one by one and I have to keep super gluing them, the "cloth" on the inside of the lid had completely come unstapled and just drapes off. I try to tape it back up because I don't own a staple gun, also the same thing is happening to the cloth underneath it. I don't own any pets so I have no idea how this is even happening. Just terrible quality for quite a bit of money.

I combed the internet looking for a nice quality bench that wasn't too expensive, had a lot of storage and didn't look cheap and this was spot on ! I ordered a second one I love it so much! The only thing to know is they do feel a bit low, but for ottomans they really aren't low at all.

The bench looks great, but after less than 30 days the tufted buttons on the top started coming off. And we don't even use the bench to sit on. It is used for storage only. Very dissapointing to have such a defect. We have tried re-attaching them, but nothign has worked so far.
