WYZE Cam v3 Pet Camera for Cats & Dogs 1080p Color Night Vision Motion & Sound Detection Indoor/Outdoor Home Security Camera (Include Silicone Case)

This was a great security camera. No subscription needed. I would recommend buying an SD card so you can review it on your phone at a later time if you want.

Camera was extremely simple to setup and install. Takes just a few minutes to setup the app and get the camera connected and less than five minutes to install using the and adjust the angle. Has a couple different options to attach it where you want it plus bottom of stand is magnetic! It has excellent picture quality. A little tricky setting the detection zone and sensitivity to get it just right. Still picks up cars as a person sometimes but overall, I'm very happy with these cameras. And once the trial period is up, you don't have to pay for services if you don't want to or don't need all the AI options. Just install an SD card and set your own price - you can get a short event video then go to playback to see the rest or switch to live view to see what's currently happening right from your phone (or I have it connected to my Alexa Show). You can submit videos to help the company make improvements for detection, too. I'm really impressed with the cameras and the floodlight!

These cameras are everything! I have them around and inside my house and they’re really so good!Pros: easy to use, clear quality picture, records and stores automatically in an app and you can delete as it goes, so affordable, small, doesn’t require big installation, have access from your phoneCons: I don’t have any cons to these cameras 😅

Update 1, June 9, 2022I updated my review from 1 Star to 4 Stars. (Explained at end of this update)Before I wrote my original review, I read that the camera video went off after 10 minutes.I did not understand how a pet or baby monitor would shut off after 10 minutes.So I called Wyze Tech Support and they CONFIRMED that the video display would shut off after 10 minutes.I talked to a woman who was obviously reading from a prepared script.She must have been working from home because I could hear a bunch of noise and kids in the background.So I decided to buy just 1 camera and see for myself how it worked as a pet monitor.It works GREAT and stays on continuously.It does NOT go off after 10 minutes like WYZE Tech Support said.It has wonderful sharp video.It has more vivid colors than my current Amazon cloud cams.It has amazing color night vision if there is some light available.it zooms the display on the iPhone and on an iMac, but NOT on an Amazon Tablet.It is a good camera, stays on.The reason I did not give it 5 Stars is because the WYZE Tech Support is very poor and gave incorrect information about it turning off after 10 minutes.I almost didn't buy it because of this incorrect information.Glad I tried it myself.I have just bought more of these cameras.I recommend this camera.Wyze needs to WISE UP and get better Tech Support.1. The camera video shuts OFF after 10 minutes on Amazon devices. I have Amazon tablets now showing CONTINUOUS LIVE video from Amazon Cloudcams. The Wyze camera does NOT show CONTINUOUS LIVE video, except on the iPhone Wyze App. So do NOT BUY this camera if you want CONTINUOUS LIVE video.2. Set up took longer than it should because of lack of details or ambiguous wording. But I finally got it set up. Next time it should go much quicker.3. I like the Nice sharp video4. I like the More vivid colors than my current Cloudcams5. I wanted to buy 8 more of these Wyze cameras but will NOT BUY anymore until they provide CONTINUOUS LIVE video that does NOT shut off after 10 minutes.6. Without CONTINUOUS LIVE video, this camera is TOTALLY USELESS as a pet monitor when the pet is asleep or not moving.7. If anyone knows how to keep the video on CONTINUOUS (without any motion), please let me know and I will update my review to 5 Stars.I really like the camera. But can NOT use it without CONTINUOUS LIVE video on Amazon tablets.

I have 11 total with a combo of 3 outdoor (powered by wyze solar panels that stay anywhere from 98-100% charged all the time) 6 indoor/outdoor v3 and 2 pan v2 I have plus subscription on 10 of them which I think was 129$ for a year. Ive had no issues with anything but I think it’s worth mentioning that if you plan to run outdoor cams youll need the base station and the base station has to be wired to internet, the cams connect to the base station wirelessly if you plan on running cams to point at your house and not on your house your connection may not be strong enough to support. I had to relocate one due to this. I had one v3 placed in a grow tent in a room downstairs of my house not connect either but it would outside of the tent. Just some things someone else may be interesting in.

I thought after I purchased the cam plus I would be able to go back from 12 am to 11 pm but I can't. Their are many time the cloud goes out. Other wise they are good to go. Make sure you got 2.4 for them to run on. The 5 g needs to be split from the 2.4 as they will not work on the 5 g

This is my fourth one of these and all of them work very well. I have a home which remains empty for a portion of the year and these are great to just take a look inside whenever I want to see if everything is still good. Setup was very easy and the app is not difficult to work with.

The product arrived fast and in excellent condition. The video quality is outstanding and very easy to set up.

This is my third cam and they work amazing. I use it for both house security and pet cam. Clear picture and sound is good.

This was a replacement for the WYZECAM V2 which got lost during a move. Love the upgrades. easy to use. Doesn't require a subscription if you don't need the extra features. Previously I had trouble with neighbors so I subscribed and it was worth it. Cancelling subscription was easy when I no longer needed it. I definitely recommend this product.

Works ONLY on 2.4 g. If you have 5g only internet it won't work so make sure you have 2.4g internet signal available

This tiny camera is awesome for monitoring our puppy in her crate while we are out. The picture is awesome, the speaker works great. Have not tried the night vision yet, so cannot comment on that.
