Q: How do you seal the top of cover so water doesn't go into it?

It comes with a little pump that you squeeze and it takes the air out to seal it.

Q: What size should I get for an 8m year old?

We got the small full arm for a 4 year old, and that worked well.

Q: how do you measure for the sleeve for the cast

Measure the circumference 2 inches above the top of the cast. Measure around the skin and not the cast, no need to go tight just snug. Make sure your measurements fall within the range of the circumference measurement for the product. Then measure the length from the tip of the finger or bottom of the foot to the point wear you measured the circumference, be sure to include any bends in the cast. Don't worry if the protector will be too long, when the air is pumped out the protector will go flat against the skin. Feel free to call 1-877-878-9882 for measurement help.

Q: The description in the title states the size is small but your product specifications states the size as large. My son is only 4 and requires a small.

My son is 12 and by measurements needed a large but it seamed to small and that may be why it leaked ....we had to tape it around the top to make sure it didn't leak....I could have just used trash bags and tape instead of spending the money on the arm cover from dry corp
