Bought this because of how much I loved the Colibri V Cut, best cutter I have/will ever own. Was worried after reading some reveiws that there straight cut didn't live up to the V cut. I can gladly say that in my opinion it does. Blade is sharp and cuts well, still might not be worth the high price point compared to other cutters but if you liked the Colibri V Cut, I can safely recommend this cutter.

sturdy, reliable, sharp, feels good in hands, easy to use without losing a finger tip. so far it's stayed sharp. I'd like to try the V cutter next

This is the second Colibri cutter I have bought on amazon. The first was the V cutter, which was a fantastic product, but when ordering this I expected the same results. The lever used on this cutter wiggles and feels cheap, whereas the V cutter does not.

I was a little apprehensive about using a one-sided guillotine cutter. But this one is precise, accurate, and very sharp. Makes a clean cut without disturbing the cigar’s cap construction.
